Hailfire took one Ford, that left one available. We can't hold that as a "just in case a reserve team gets in" car. Python was perfectly within his rights to swap to an available car. Now a Panoz is available for a reserve team if they get in instead of the Ford.

The next team that was on the waiting list that "got in" was Benedict Racing, who had the DBR9 as their first choice, and got that too.

I think some people just enjoy complaining.

well for one I'm not complaining and for two I don't have a problem I'm sorry if I struck a nerve with question as it seems to happen a lot .Was just trying to understand a bit more about the waiting list is all no need to be defensive.

I guess what I was driving at was that there were 2 pages of comments clamouring over who should or should not have the cars, when both teams got what they requested anyway.

Yes, but there are no Acura's left on the allocation.

There is an Acura on the list now since DMR jumped back to GTE, so am assuming you still want to make the switch unless you say otherwise.
