TORA Rally Raid - Rulebook 8440772783_711f54f0c4_b

The following is directed to competitors of both the T2 Rally and T2 RallyCross championships.

Communications
TORA expects competitors who partake in its championships and meetings to behave in an appropriate and respectable manner. Insulting comments or behaviour towards fellow competitors and race stewards is unacceptable and will be dealt with severely.

Championship Structure This is a Drivers-only championship

TORA Rally Raid Championship
The Rally Raid Championship title is only eligible to entrants in both the T2 Rally and T2 RallyCross championships. The results will be determined by the total points earned in both championships.

T2 Rally Championship
The T2 Rally Championship title is eligible to entrants in the T2 Rally Championship. The results of each meeting will be determined by the total time achieved in all four stages of a rally. If a driver does not complete a stage of a rally, their time will be taken as "DNF" or "DNS", both of which will score less points than an actual posted time.

T2 RallyCross Championship
The T2 RallyCross Championship title is eligible to entrants in the T2 RallyCross Championship. The results of each meeting will be determined by the finishing positions of each driver. If a driver does not complete a race, their position will be taken as "DNF" or "DNS", both of which will score less points than an actual finishing position.

The following is directed to competitors of the T2 Rally Championship

Meetings

Lobbies will be set to the default Rally setup. All drivers will be ghosted as they complete the stage.
TCS and ABS will be forced off, and the shifting will be forced to Manual.

The following is directed to competitors of the T2 RallyCross Championship

General Rules & Driving Etiquette
Series racing, as defined by TORA, is a non contact sport. It is understandable that on occasion some contact may occur that is not expected by either party, for example due to lag. Competitors with 'lag' issues will not be penalized, but may be asked to improve their connection, if the issue is persistently hindering other's experiences please see connection section.

Competitors who are being followed on a straight part of a track by another car may move their position on the track ONCE to defend, any further sufficient movement outside of cornering will be deemed as weaving and your actions may be reported to the race director or head steward after the race.

If a competitor leaves the track at any time, it is advised that extra caution is taken not to impede other drivers when rejoining, please check and look before rejoining the track. Common courtesy stipulates that a driver in a dangerous position on the circuit should alert oncoming drivers of their position to avoid additional incidents, (essentially the yellow flag rules.)

Meetings

Qualifying will consist of 15 mins on track. Drivers must stop when finishing their lap after 15 mins have passsed to allow the lobby host to collect qualifying times.
Collisions will be set to "Off"

Grid will be set by the in-game preset "Results of previous race". Races are standing starts.

Race lobbies will be set to approximately 20 mins worth of laps.
TCS and ABS will be forced off, and the shifting will be forced to Manual (this also allows for Manual w/ Clutch).
There will be no race restarts

sooo, we only have qualifying for the Rally-X races right?

for the Rally, it's just people who have posted IN will get invited to a lobby and then we see how they finish based on the cumilative times?

Yep, that's pretty much it. The game has a Rally gamemode for multiplayer, so we'll pretty much just be following that for the Rallies. The Rallycross just follows the usual TORA race format.

Now unless I'm missing something here, I believe the only storefront is the one for paintjobs and vinyls, don't think there is one for setups.

It's long become my second-nature to have the clutch there to be able to swing the car around. It's like my e-brake when I use it right. To lose it would put me at a disadvantage, as it would KILL my instincts.

To answer your questions:

The stages will be in order (1, 2, 3, 4). Stage 1 will be in the morning, Stage 2 will be afternoon, Stage 3 will be evening, and Stage 4 will be at midnight.

The tunes aren't up already. I'm 95% certain you can upload car setups on the Horizon storefront. If it turns out that I'm insane, then I'll post the car setups in the Carlist thread.

All drivers must use at least Manual. If the lobby is set to "Manual", then Man w/C users can still use the Man w/C option.

I had a very good look last night, there is a storefront for Paintjobs, Vinyl Groups and Photos, but could not find one anywhere for Setups.

Ok well I'll post the setups here soon.

I don't think you can do that in Horizon, it'll be easier to just use the normal grid layout.

If you add a lap and have a formation lap you could do that but ok I am happy with grid just wanted to confirm.

Also if you need help with this event I will be about as I always am with all the tora events
