Fanatec CSR
Would anyone be interested in buying a Fanatec CSR wheel and pedals, bought it last year and I can't get used to it, I have updated to the latest firmware (750B i think) that has auto clutch, I'd like about £170 for it (or as near as possible ).
I have both boxes so can post at a cost, or you can collect from Carlisle, Cumbria.

Re: Fanatec CSR
After loosing the back end of the BMW 1M and Z8 far more times than i would like to recal, and thinking it was set up of car. It turns out the CSR's wheel settings were totaly pants. The wheel settings for Fanatec Forum website created an over reaction when trying to catch a slide.
I Mucked about with it myself and have now sorted the wheel settings to suit me and hey prestow, no more unconrolable slides and the whip effect. The wheel and pedals are great but the wheel can cause an headache at times. Hopefully from now on my back end will be in a straight line!!

What settings are u running as iv been slower on csr wheel compared to the xbox 360 wheel. But iv spend a few hours playing with the wheel settings and it good now. I understand your frustration, It was hard to get used to but is hopefully going to pay off now. Turning down force feedback on the forza menu and not on wheel has helped. U have probably tried all this stuff already but thought id offer some help if poss.

Re: Fanatec CSR
Thanks for the advice, I've tried some settings that I know work for other people, I think my problem is I don't have the patiants, and get frustrated easy, on some circuits I can be as little as half a second of my times, but just not consistant enough.
If I can't sell it for the price I want then I may try it again.....

Re: Fanatec CSR
170 pounds for the whole kit? Are they the regular csr pedals? I assume u got the package deal, did u get the shifter set? Will you cover shipping?
Re: Fanatec CSR
Oh and turn the drift setting up to 2, turn ff down to 50, use sim steering under sens 270 and normal for above sen 270. Never turn the xbox on with the wheel. Never switch from controller to wheel in the same "slot". Oh, and get yerself some better pedals, the regular CSR's are, in fact, pants.
Re: Fanatec CSR
I've never changed the settings on my wheel. What do you gain by adjusting the FF, etc.......?

I wasn't looking at covering postage, as there are two large boxes, one for the steering wheel and one for the pedals

bottom line! [Censored] loads. The wheel Felt like a 1960s lorry at first, heavy steering and had to change the tune of my cars. Then realised the wheel needed tuning aswell, pissed about with online steering tunes and that caused more issues.lol..dont know what firmware im using but tuning the wheel settings my self helped.
I Run this in the Tora and XPLR Championships for all cars.
Sen 440
FF100 ..........Forza in game settings Menu, set FF to 80
Sho 100
dri off
ABS 060

Re: Fanatec CSR
i used drift setting before on my old setting, not used it with this setting though as there's not much benefit. Nice to share info though. Alot of XPLR boys have there sen at 260, find that impossible to drive.ShrinkingSteven wrote:When I drive Porsche I have drift mode on 5 just helps with Balancing the car I feel
