Re: MSA TORA Touring Car Championship - Round 4, 5 & 6 - Nurburgring Short – March 19th 8PM GMT
i had 3 great races, first 2 were a tad processional, but with my team mates so all good
3rd race started at the back and had great fun working back into a podium spot
feel sorry for the rcz driver, i know its a hairdressers car, but i think that thing must be powered by a hair dryer its so slow!
big thank you to BlackHawk S61 for hosting, great job even with the early problems
apologies if this is not the case, but it would appear some people are still not making sure they have an open NAT and/or a decent internet connection
testing this takes 30 seconds before you load the game, no excuses
by not doing this or continually racing online knowing you have an issue is just selfish, you can ruin your night and others
luckily i wasnt affected last night, but when we are sat on the grid and i can see cars disappearing and reappearing all over the grid, its obvious something isnt right

Re: MSA TORA Touring Car Championship - Round 4, 5 & 6 - Nurburgring Short – March 19th 8PM GMT
I agree with the connection issue. I was unsure of my connection in the first race as most people seemed to be lagging in D lobby. But when race 2 came and I heard that I was lagging I asked for confirmation from a few guys and girls (hi Lucy) and they did agree I swiftly pulled out from my grid at the green light so I didn't ruin anyone's race.
I appologise if I did lag in race one but I made sure I left plenty of room for the other guys (sumak and LAG HUN) especially giving a gained place and losing one more dropping one place overall. Not much more I could do.
Safe to say though everyone by now should be aware of there own connection like myself. I have had speed issues for over 12 month but my NAT etc is perfect I just get packet loss a lot.

In Lobby C, had some superb battles.
Shame I managed to fudge my starts in 2 of 3 races!!!!
Was a cracking race, slightly muddied in race 3 by some very ropy track re-entries, wiping out 1, and tboning another, but thankfully i missed that by 2-3 ft!!!!

OH well nevermind . All the testing etc was worth it just for that
Cheers guys again, well done it was a lot smoother this race except for the restart due to people running into each other on the parade lol. Other than that. THANKS
Same here pal, apart from i was able to do 2 races. let me guess virginmedia super hub??

Oh yes meado lol. But they say it is problem in the area as the super fast fibre optic cables cannot cope with demand lol. They say they are awaiting the councils planning permission to dig up the roads??? But surprisingly it only happened when I got the superhub installed???? Hmmmmm let's see . Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't lol. How did you guess

Im having the same issues, yet its not the whole house thats gettin the problem. They said that the speed is as fast as it can go but when we first got it, we never had any problems!!

Check on the superhub settings what signal is coming to router. I was having issues on 100meg with the superhub. Apparently the strength should be between -7 and +3, I was getting +9 which was overloading the router giving me lag outs and internet dropping off.

I will at the exact place when I get in and post up how to find it. Mine was caused by just upgrading but line not configured.

Gutted about lastnight, waited for two weeks for this race only to get a call-out. Next meeting, I'm not on call, and silverstone is my best track, so hopfully I can take part.
Oh yeah, my qualifying time was wrong as well, I did a 36 not a 38, not that it marrers as I never raced, lol

SuperHub
Log in > Advanced settings > Network Status > Check the RxPower is between -7 and +3.
If your running 100mb in upstream section it should be no higher than 43 in the TxPower.
Hope this helps if you do find it is to high you need a small filter added to cable in router.
EDIT: Some people will say -3 to 7 is optimum but virgin engineer only two weeks told me the opposite.

I would like to publicly apologise to Cqr jono, I rejected an incoming call for work last night whilst racing and I thought that jono had hit a kerb in front of me and got it a bit sideways when in fact when looking at the replay it was me that hit him and sent him sideways, this was my mistake for not paying attention and I hope jono bears no hard feelings

Fairly happy with my first outing back in TCC, the first couple of races were good, the launch of the BMW is excellent, just the rest of the track its rubbish, where's Warspite, I need to steal his tunes again!

big thank you to BlackHawk S61 for hosting, great job even with the early problems
I like to have a challenge think its all the hair dye in the back adding weight It is very good through the corners so cant have it all Don't think it's as slow as i made it appear though, my teammates are getting 0.5sec+ better times than me...my report card reads 'must try harder'
+1 on the BlackHawk comment. Brill job of hosting and organizing. Had a really good nights racing last night thank-you
For anyone who's interested, all 3 D lobbies race replays are in my storefront.
