You realize if these things are passed around enough and you didn't create them someone will eventually get whacked from storefront or gifting if this becomes commonplace. It is inevitable you will come across one that was hacked if you ask as much as you have.

Why does that matter? Just asking for it unlocked, maybe to use in a TORA series that requires a paint be gifted or put on storefront.

Just a fair warning is all. It always matters, I won't go into why or how anyone can figure that out. I'd just be careful what you receive and use.

When I want something and an unable/unwilling to make it, I just buy it from the storefront. I can't gift it or change the colors, but at least I didn't spend way too much time to make it myself.

i understand what you mean worm, but i just thought having it unlocked would be helpful for when i some cars that run this logo
and what do you mean 'ask as much as i have' i rarely ask for logos, and if i do, it's only the extremely complex one that i find difficult and other may find simple in the hope someone does, it's not like i ask for every logo on the face of the earth or anything?

I just saw three requests on the top of the forum at the same time for logo's. At the end of the day a lot of these logo's probably came from a small handful of people and were just ripped off and resold or gifted time and time again without permission from the original person who created them. I've been dealing with hackers and modders for two straight days now and it's just irritating me.

EDIT: Not saying that you are. Obviously that isn't the case. It just gets frustrating when you see your friends quit playing what may have started your friendship over people hacking the game. The painting community used to be as active as anything and maybe more than anything else. Now there are a select few left and Monkey is the only one I know off hand that has kept chugging along through the games duration.

ah ok, i get that, it would be frustrating, but the logos i was offering (eurodatacar) were made by me.
sorry if it sounds like I'm having a rant at you or anything, i'm not trying to, i was just a little confused by your response and reading back on it, if it was aimed at me, id feel a bit attacked by it, so that's not what i mean,
and I'm the same, i'd hate if someone got an unlocked version of a logo/paint I spent ages on, and then made a heap off of it, so i understand your reasoning

This is just my opinion but I couldn't care less if someone wanted to sell a vinyl I made. Sharing is caring

You would if you spent that much time and creating it was the game to you. Not everyone races, people hot lap, drift, take photo's, and paint. I deal with this crap every day and a lot of people quit playing the game because of this attitude.

If you created it and don't care then I don't see the problem here and there.

If you didn't create it and it came from who knows where or a friend that suddenly started painting I wouldn't touch it.

Turn 10 can pull your gifts.

Worm, the guys are just asking for some favors and tbh many of the talented painters who make big bucks and a name for themselves on Forza offer to help. They also tend to help out guys they know and have been a very active and good member of the community, and not just some random new joiner.

There's no malice intended and I think everyone here respects each other enough to not pass on someone else's work. Also, if no one wants to help then they will say so.

^ What Richy said. There are tuners who share their tunes and tuning info, and their are painters who help fellow racers as well. I'm inconsistent at tuning, but when I hit something I share it. I'm more of a painter, although I may be a bit lazy at painting, but I share what I create with my fellow TORA/XPLR/VM racers.

I understand this Richy but it's obvious the awareness isn't there from a few. I didn't accuse anyone of anything or say anything negative about anyone here. Just making him aware of what is going on. Read up before jumping to conclusions.
