Good day TORA!

Hello TORA! My name is Dale Clinton, and I'm from Edmonton, Canada. I came across your organization via FM.net in one of their articles. I've been an avid video game racer since well...as far back as 1989 with Ivan “Ironman” Stewart’s Super Off Road. My first taste of online racing was within the first year of Xbox Live in a game called MotoGP. There I met some riders who were part of an online racing group called xblRacing. During my time there, I participated in many racing seasons in various racing franchises such as MotoGP, Burnout, Project Gotham Racing, and Forza to name a few. I also became the web designer there creating the branding image of xblRacing.com. Unfortunately, after many years the club members starting drifting away one by one from racing games, and the site slowly started to decline in activity, eventually ceasing to exist. It was around this time that I started to play FPS games due to it becoming difficult finding like-minded people interested in racing. More and more my friend's list became full of people who didn't really have any interest in getting behind a virtual steering wheel. However, spanning that entire time I still bought and enjoyed playing racing games with the main franchise being Forza.

Fast forward to today, and I've got the online racing itch again. Quite honestly I'm burned out on most genres, especially FPS games, and I'm looking to get back into racing online in a more professional format. I came to TORA because it is my hope to race with people who believe in proper racing etiquette. It's unfortunate that most random people who play online will use the leading cars bumper to slow down in a corner instead of their own brakes. While I'm not the fastest guy on the track, and I also have a lot to learn about racing, I seek to participate in some of TORA's events and make some new friends and be a positive contributor to this community.

Yup, I updated that map with my location as well. Looks like we're almost bedfellows so-to-speak; although hopefully not 'strange' ones.

Friday Night Spec Series. We're currently doing V8 Supercars then Ferrari 458 Challenge. Its a nice place to start to ease into the more hardcore racing, good bunch of fellows race there

Thanks. I'm a chef and work in a restaurant, so Friday evenings might be a little tough to do lol, but I'm sure I can swing Tuesdays and some other mid-week nights.
