Is this Meeting date and time set in stone for the TASCAR Series?
Why not set the qualifying sessions the Saturday before the 1st race session?
I believe that I may have a good chance to qualify 1st or 2nd in the 4 lap session.

Or could you delay the Sunday June 30 qualifying by 1/2 hour. I usually get home by 3:30 PM EDT

as for the Saturday before, that would be TORA's 24 Heures Du Mans. the rest of the Staff didn't have an issue with me running the "Qually Meeting" on the Sunday when the 24hr race concludes. and i don't see why i cannot push the Start time back maybe 1/2-1hr.

Well, I sure would give it my best.

I am withdrawing from the TASCAR Series, so please remove me from the Driver's List.

Sorry that I caused trouble with the Sunday Qualifying session.

The main reason is that it is hard for me to race the Stock cars without ABS and TC on the Road Tracks.

Good luck to everyone in the TASCAR Series.

Maybe someday there will be a true NASCAR Series race on Forza Motorsport.

....is that not what i've tried to do here? the real guys have no driving aids except maybe power steering right?! And i've introduced the "Speedweeks" style of qualifying for the 1st race of the season last year, ala the real deal, in hopes to make the TASCAR series close to a NASCAR style series as possible.

Granted, lobby size is an issue, but hopefully next year on the XB1, that might not be an issue any longer. i can picture a full 43-car lobby for TASCAR Season 4, and with the possible 'live stewards' & Safety Car if they are willing.

I'm terrible without TCS but im up for it, This seems like the closest we could get to a "proper Nascar race" to me.

That's going to be some mighty tough racing!

These cars are not bad at all without TCS. the "Stock Cars" and the v8's (when allowed to tune them), i can manage w/o TCS. the rest of R3, and further up the PI-range, i need to use it.

By the end of the season I hope to be a demon with no TCS in a stock car

Still using it in the TEC Vette though, Don't want to get caught doing donuts on the live stream

You can tune around the lack of TCS very easily with a 4 spee trans.

With these cars, the quicker you get on the gas out of the corners on road courses, the better, even if you are sliding all the way up the road.

How long does this normally take?

About 2-2 1/2 hours from the start of qualifying to the race's end.

Is there a TORA GT that we send a FR to for invites?

I can say for myself that I can tune a car for a road course, but I never tuned a car for an oval.
Any tips?

great start to the season :/
finished 6th in part 1, then after the first safety car went from provision second, to second last, i pitted second behind Loeb, then everyone else but corycc97 pitted under safety car, but i was still second also, with cory last who should've been third behind me, then on the restart coming out of turn 1 had a tiny bit of lag, and my joystick stuck, so i crashed into Hurricane trying to steer to avoid him and newt (sorry mate) then get lag bombed into the fence by cory lap 39 (not your fault mate) and then just as i was coming out of pits my xbox shut off and i lagged out, fan-freaken-tastic :/

Thanks to all who raced tonight. And congratulations to TASCAR rookie, BG Checo with the win.
