Anyone see the PS4 debacle? They sent broken consoles to both IGN and Kotaku. Had two early release users with broken consoles as well. One was broken out of the box, the other just bricked downloading the update. Another moron unplugged his during the update and bricked it himself.

They also had one that wasn't even flat sent to someone else.

This thing hasn't even been released yet and how do you send a console out that isn't flat? How do you not check that the console you are sending to reviewers isn't broken? They must have sold the quality control division when they were piddling off assets to turn a profit.

I was watching the guy live streaming last night trying to fix his PS4. The fanboys were calling him a Microsoft plant and all sorts of crap. He got it to work 3 times in 10 hours (yes 10) but it broke again everytime.

I like both consoles and want them to do well, Dont forget we still got to see if the ONE consoles have launch issues yet.

But I must admit after the constant bashing over resolutions and everything we been getting from sony fanboys im having quite a laugh watching them try to shrug off these issues like they are all normal.

Only been a few thousand PS4s sent out so far and we have 6 broken on the internet and who knows how many more.

Also the Pad seems to have some issues. Left analouge stick rubber worn after a couple of weeks for some gamers. Sticky RB buttons and apparently 8hr battery life on something you cant change the batteries on. What will they be like after a couple of months hard playing.

Dammit, Sony fanboys have turned me into an xbot Surprised

Same here LNS. I wanted whatever was best but they ruined it. Kind of reminds me of Liverpool fans. I don't have a BPL team so just cheered whomever played against United until the Liverpool nuts ruined it. Now I cheer against them too.

Come to think of it, this may be how I actually settle on a team. Whose fans aren't the worst?

No doubt about that, all new tech have failures, but like Worm I've grown a little tired with the Sony fanboys harping on when there's little to nothing between the two machines so it's quite amusing, and if nothing else I'm picking up some quality meme's from the comment sections of IGN.

It's just a huge mistake and WTF moment when you send consoles out for review. The one that goes to the largest reviewer in the world (IGN) breaks when downloading Netflix and the other goes to your own personal fanboy site (Kotaku) and breaks. Kotaku shrugged it off BTW.

Also what's this nonsense about the Xb1 only being upscaled 720p? I thought FM5 was native 1080p?

I think they have 6 confirmed consoles broken and just over 4,000 out so that's about right. A far cry from the 30% plus on the 360 and 10% on the PS3. Still boggles the mind you didn't make sure the reviewers had working systems.

Once it's gone viral it's pretty much over.

+1 I don't think we'll see another RROD (Microsoft did do a fantastic job of making that right though) fiasco but I'm sure there will be some teething issues, there always is!
