Great racing in B lobby, Myles that hour long battle was intense. Especially when blackhawk would try to stick his nose in it lol

So far, LMP is R18 vs. 908 because T10 is trying to please the fans that refuse to use a racing game properly.

Roadrunner do you have other devices sharing the connection at home?
Could possibly be affected by something hitting your wifi and drawing the bandwidth?

Proximity to other players could be an issue too.

I only have .786 upload and dont suffer lagouts. 2 this year at most.
If most of the guyr in your lobby are in europe that could also be an issue.

Anyway, well done all the winners and organisers, Iscc has been amazing fun.
Loved every minute of it.

sorry i pulled in behind u to get the racing line as soon as i did you broke couldn't do anything about it

im disappointed that i didnt get to qualify when i had signed in and then i didnt even get to race as i wasnt on the list of people to race.im glad i didnt get to race as i would of ended up being crashed into or would of lagged out.

Personal Note - I would like to thank all the guys at TORA (organisers, lobby hosts, stewards, fellow competitors and fellow teams) for another great ISCC season. This was my last race on the current platform and I look forward to TORA events on the new one.

oh dear.....well tanks for hosting anyway...my race was wrecked anyway the LMR BMW went into the back of me causing bad aero rear damage so had no chance to fight

Forza 4 multiplayer does not use servers, it's P2P (peer-2-peer), which by definition means WITHOUT servers, everyone's Xbox is connecting to everyone else's Xbox directly, no servers. If you lose connection to other people in the lobby, it means your data packets are not being received by other people in the lobby, if this happens for more than a few seconds, you lose synchronisation and 'lag' out. There's many reasons why this can occur - slow connection speed, high latency, upload saturation, DNS issues, routing issues, Wi-Fi interference (if running via wireless) etc, but it's definitely NOT 'the servers'... there aren't any.

Good race last night with Texas and would have been a race till the end but unfortunately I got lag raped by a back marker.

I'm hardwired, so that leaves that out. I just don't understand how its gone crappy the last couple months. Literally nothing has changed for me, and I had 0 problems before.

Sounds like it's most likely a problem at your ISP's end, e.g. a routing or DNS problem or lack of bandwidth capacity at their end. You could try using Google's public DNS servers instead of your ISP's own (primary DNS is 8.8.8.8, backup DNS is 8.8.4.4), I know a couple of people that found this helped them with lag problems.

It all depends on how much time Simon has to get around to converting it from twitch to youtube...

Don't worry about it. I was just a bit pissed off last night because I though I had a good chance of a decent result despite being in the bottom lobby. Mistakes happen.
