2014 TORA Spec Cup Season 1 - Lap Times

1:32.053 at Road Atlanta. Strange, I usually suck monkey gentleman sausage round this track, feel really hooked up in this thing

Did a couple practice qualifying races tonight and got 32.8s

1.31.9 with splits for a .5/6

1:31.453 @ Road atlanta

1.31.267 fast lap, consistent 1.31.4's

1.30.9 but only when I get three braking right for the chicane after the straight.
So slow compared to other A class cars, we need more power captain

My best Quali (clean) lap is 1:31.4 but my best is a 1:30.870. Apparently two wheels on the kerb exit of turn 5 is enough to dirty your lap. I'd be very happy with Mid B, maybe scraping into A lobby if I can nail a good lap.

Haven't done any laps yet but I love Road Atlanta so should be fun

Wow this looks like it's going to be close again. I've done some 31.0s clean and some dirty 30.9s(one from the lap before😡). Hopefully quali will go well. It will be very easy to do dirty laps.

My PB is a 1:31.6 but I've definitely got room to improve in the first sector

Just ran 5 laps, got a 30.8 looking at a .6 or .5

Silverstone, 30.8 on lap 4, stuck there dirty, cleaned it up and did 3 30.5's one after another!

1:31.249 lap 3, splits for a 30.9 but consistently lapping clean between 1:31.2 and 1:31.4.

1:31.917 with splits for 1:31.7's maybe a .6

1:29.5 at silverstone int after 6 laps

with laps of practise i managed a 1:31.179 but there's defiantly more in it, im thinking mid 30's

Ok, new rule. Mad Dog cannot start the race until everyone is on the last lap in the last corner. But, thinking of it. He would still find a way to win. Oy Vey!!!

I cannot believe im running 2 seconds off Mad Dog. Normally im like 4-5 seconds off.

moral of this: I hate AWD cars, it refuses to turn in late and the slightest bit of power will shoot it towards the wall at Mach 3.

Don't try and force it to turn. Left it float into the corner and once you feel it set in the middle of the corner then hammer down. At least you can mash the throttle on corner exit rather than slow get back on it since its AWD and not RWD. Personally I like some AWD Cars but I HATE and I mean HATE FWD Cars, I cant drive them.

Ugh just did ten laps. 8 of which were 31.9s I guess consistency is a good thing though.

I'm gonna have to try some laps in this car, might as well at Silverstone, as I quite like this version of it. I know I won't be able to actually race, so this will be more of a hotlap challenge for me.

I guess my goal should be a low 1:30?
