Yes there are plans for streaming but due to the limitation of not being able to spectate it will be done at a later date. There are people streaming onboards from their car live.... But yes there are plans

I may stream from onboard my car (when I'm racing it) and I may encourage the other tekkers to do the same haha. Thank you "xbox stream"!

If anyone is doing any livestreaming, throw me or anyone in Red or Purple (like me) a link to your twitch/Youtube channel!

And could everyone save their replays please!!

please note that we really dont want everyone streaming at the same time as it will cause issues so maybe try to run just 1 or 2 people per lobby.

Yes I am making a footage montage. I'm also going to do a 5 min snippet for every hour, and another 5 min snippet with the results etc

And also there will be 'Through The Eyes Of...' Video's Aswell

I know! I'm amazed that everyone loves the onboards, I started the series for GT's wondering if it would be liked and I'm sure that it is! So yeah I'm amazed aswell. And thanks for the kind words

I'll try and setup streaming for my stints (Never done it before), But I'll be sure to check and make sure there's not to many people doing it in the lobby at the same time.

Definitely if they are streaming directly from the Xbox One. I've not noticed any issues if people are using capture devices and streaming from a PC though

I'll likely be streaming onboard view of stint 1, 2, and 4 from www.twitch.tv/FormulaForza via capture card and PC. I'm not the fastest guy out there, and it should be pretty funny to watch how badly I struggle to run even remotely respectable times so i'm thinking the broadcast will be entitled "2 Hour Forza Comedy Special", something like that

Humble! You'll do fine I think. I remember the 3 hour race with you a few years ago with RWS. I will be streaming also and possibly tonight.

I was about to point this out as well. The lag issues that come from streaming aren't necessarily caused by net issues, but by the Xbox One's processing power. This is why I am heavily hesitant on people streaming with the Twitch app. I would suggest that in an event as long and important as this, people do not stream through the Twitch app.

Maybe we come up with a stint planner to stream having only 1 person per stint streaming ?

Quick question. With each stint starting with a rolling 60mph start and going green after the final chicane of the GP circuit, How will we know if all the stints start at the same time?

For example what if Lobby 2 takes 10-20 seconds longer then lobby 1 to get into order and roll around to the green, Effectively meaning Lobby 1 would get a slight time jump over the cars in lobby 2.

Great question and we thought of this. There will be no roll off delay. Everybody will stay on the grid except for 1st place in that lobby. He will leave his line straight away and get to a maximum speed of 60 mph and then the rest of the field will catch up and file in behind him. The consistency here is the lead GT car will leave his line straight away in both lobbies and maintain a top speed of 60mph. There may be a second or two discrepancy but we find this to be the best way to manage the lobbies.

Ah good to know. I only asked as we faced similar issues when we ran multiple lobbies over in the FLMS.

hypothetical...during the formation and before the race is underway, if someone gets damage that's severe enough that its going to impact their race, can they turn around and go into the pits, giving up their grid position?

We would restart typically but nobody should be picking up damage hopefully

Hosts will more than likely take note of any significant occurrences anyway, so if there was an unforseen 2 minute delay that was unavoidable it can be referred to and taken into consideration should it be required.

Ideally all will run smooth and the best way teams can assist with this is by making sure they are online in good time and get straight into the lobby when invited.

I think at the end of this race a feedback thread may be nice so the community can give their ideas for future events ie lobby settings, race procedure etc. I must say though that the guys have really tried to consider every eventuality going into this. My hats off to them ; )

We pretty much have all bases covered , should a single car wipe out during the formation sequence then that would be hard luck unless the whole lobby agreed to re start , but should half the field be involved then a restart would be called for straight away.
