Hey guys, cant't wait for this race.

How long is a stint. There is mention in the rules for 10min turn around so stints are 1:50 and assume start in the even hour (gmt). But when we're doing a test it appeared we only had 1:45 or 2hrs to pick from. Certainly not a big deal either way I just practice stint lengths so I just wondered. I'm guessing it's the 1:45 with 15min to next race for us double /triple stinting?

What will happen is the race will be set to 2 hours, but you will stop when the timer runs down to 10:00. The next stint will be set up at 15 min before the next stint. That way, the room will be ready except for those that need to come over from the last stint.

I hope that makes sense.

Makes sense to me. I was hoping it would be same lobby. So I could get up go bathroom, drink etc. For 9 minutes. But this makes sense. But that means everyone's a DNF, right?

Thanks for the details. That way I can practice double stinting overnight tonight / Saturday and then triple stinting following week.

You'll get credits/xp assuming you don't have to jump out a do the next stint. But the more you do in a row the worse off you'll be if wanting credits and xp.

I got enough now. I just like to be apart of 24 hours race and do the best I can for the team. Certainly  getting plenty of credits practicing, anyway.

There has been talk amongst the team about it, just trying to gauge how much interest/commitment there is. If there isn't a great deal I will try to find a drive as a wildcard for another team

If you are double stinting then yes you generally have to leave the lobby asap to get the next stint started on time but if you are not the driver of the following stint you are welcome to stay in the lobby while the timer runs down to claim your credits and xp.

So we have a predicament: We will potentially have 17 teams signed up and a lobby holds 16. We are all for quality and fun. We will be addressing how to approach this and would appreciate some thoughts. Our decision will be final ultimately but know that we have the events interests at heart and the essence that makes these events so great!

Bit harsh on the slower drivers that wish to compete. Enduro's aren't all about pace.

Pace won't define it if that is the route. I've already mentioned that our grey area is 17-19 and we need either 16 teams or 20+ to warrant a single lobby/two lobbies.

We want to avoid small lobbies if at all possible. These are long races and become repetitive when the field is too spread out. The quality is sacrificed and when you consider that for example lobby 1 would be 5 GT and 4 TCC and lobby 2 is 5 GT and 3 TCC, well it's not very exciting for lobby two in TCC
