Yes and from what i've seen is that the first 2 stints ran normal so those points could still be counted

How about postponing it for a few hours? Say, 5 pm EST/10:00 PM BST. If it's all clear, we resume the action then. If smooth, we then would be running til 1 am EST Sunday/ 6 am BST

I don't see why there should be a problem with finishing next week Saturday. Like Mikey said, most people that race in VEC don't race on TEC, and you can easily work your way around with stints being that the Silverstone race is only 6 hours. So who's going to give the official postponement announcement?

because then teams would have to reshuffle their stints due to availability of the drivers. obviously this would be an issue regardless but atleast it gives teams a week to sort it out if its pushed to next week

We've ran 2 stints already, potentially 3 as A lobby is still currently going.

I'd say see what happens, if lobby B can't get going we should postpone stint 3 for B lobby and run the rest should XBL services come back up,

We can then run the remainder of the stints tomorrow starting again from 2PM BST if that's ok with everyone else?

I say keep trying, but skip stint 3 for B lobby for now, if stint 4 cannot be started by say 9 we postpone all until tomorrow

Not really a great option for those in Europe. I know I wouldn't stay up all night to race.

**** that, I'm not planning on waking up at 6am to run 6 hours. I don't want to ask my teammate (same timezone) to do it a second day in the row. Should this happen, my entry is likely pulled except for maybe stints 5 and 6.


Same with any Aussie drivers/teams in this.

Stint 3 for B lobby cancelled for the time being, I'm setting up for Stint 4, invites will be out soon,

We will re-run stint 3 tomorrow and any others we fail to get going

Different day, different schedules for people. Could change the entire course of the event for some teams.

I would say postponing a week would be the better option. it then gives teams time to work out their new stints

Another 'real world" option, as seen in Petit LeMans and COTA WEC...

Call it official after the two completed stints, due to inclement weather/torrential downpour.

that is another option however this should only be used as a last resort

Getting a globally agreeable time on a Sunday is going to be near impossible.

I doubt any other stints will be able to keep going with how this is running atm. I can't be on stand by all day either as I have to go study for exams. I think postponing till next week would be the best bet, but then again it can be inconvenient for many

either postpone the rest of the event but keep the first two stints done

I vote duck this do it next week

unfortnately xbl hasn't given us much of an option but will see what we can do

Really hope we can restart this tonight.

Only other option is to put the Watkins 12 hour to the back of the list and leave it untill last that way no messing about and all results get put to one side

No solution is good or ideal. There's just crap and less crap when it comes to the decisions to be made. A lot of effort and time testing and tuning may have been for nothing.
