The caution rule should be looked at. Dropping from 3 cars to 2 is best in my opinion just so "competitive" gamers don't use spin-outs as help. Be honest, it would happen. But, i suppose that is a stupid rule for people who honestly made a mistake or had some misfortune.
I don't care about starts. Rolling starts don't necessarily mean even starts either, like if someone jumps the gun or the lead car doesn't go in time. All is does is wreck the cars before the race even starts.
Sorry, those were my two cents.

2 questions:

- Are tuning & upgrades allowed for the road courses?
- Is damage going to be on limited or cosmetic?

i believe upgrading is allowed for road courses as the rules state, but what im worried about is if anything more than just the restrictor plate makes these cars unrealistic. i try to run the Stock Car public hopper, and i am the only one who uses the restricted pi's and pi's w/o the r.plate

i dont agree with having any upgrades at all, we were all so close at sunset (0.005 between 4 people in qualifying)

With upgrades and tuning allowed i think it'l be the usual suspects cruising off into the distance.... Sad

I agree the Tascar has provided some majorly close racing why spoil it with upgrades and tuning?

But racing at Sunset is completely different from racing at Road America, the two types of races have nothing in common except from the cars in the race.

Sunset had insanely close and good racing the whole time and its disappointing to ruin that with upgrades. I 100% agree with Switch that anything more than removing restrictors is just completely unrealistic and would/could possibly take away some competitiveness because then we'd have to wrestle with complete monsters the whole race and it would end up with maybe 100 meters between 1st and 2nd and then like 300+ between everyone else. Then you'd have to bring tuning into the mix and that would ruin such a great competitive series.

I will say it again... Driving the car and racing at Sunset is entirely different to that of Road America, I believe that tuning should be introduced to the road courses so that we can turn the diff down to handle all that power. For the ovals we can keep tuning off.

How about we introduce a set build for the road courses? Get one of the more talented tuners to make it and give it out for free to everyone.

We ran some road course laps with forced stock tune and build, it was fine. Do we really need to run with restrictors off?

The restrictor makes literally no difference half a seconds worth of laptime and the cars are easily managable so it wouldn't matter running the restrictor or not.

Whatever will keep the cars even is fine with me, but adding as many upgrades as you can definitely is not. I personally don't care about restrictors because I'm all about close clean racing.

Due to public opinion road courses will be run at the same spec as ovals, i.e no modification or tuning, expect an update to the regs soon.

@brit, see entry list, sorry for delay.
