Wow, pretty old news that I knew absolutely nothing about:

Codemasters want to cater to the more ''hardcore'' rally fans according to some other interviews, i'm guessing this is where the ''Birmingham'' things come from (i.e F1 2010 code)

Hopefully we get back to longer traditional rally stages with weather effects and evolving stages while still keeping some of the more extreme events I would prefer to see more ''traditional'' rallycross on real tracks like Lydden, Croft and Knockhill as well as places like Battersea and stuff. I would also like to see the X-Games, but I would much prefer the true-to-life layout, or perhaps a back catalogue of the various X-Games layouts over the years.

But whatever is in it, it will be damn good, Codemasters sure know how to make a fun racer! And with the disapointing screenshots and gameplay coming out of the WRC game, this should be the best bet for a good rally game.
