TASCAR - Round 1 - Sunset Oval - 13th August

The Return of TORA's TASCAR series returns This Saturday, August 13th 2011 @ Sunset Speedway. 9pm BST (4pm EST)




Qualifying:

Lobby will be set to 4 Laps, collisions on, cosmetic damage, random grid order. When the game counts down to start, everyone in order of which the game lined us up, would head towards the exit of the Pit Lane, and park off the racing surface in single file manner. Then, when everyone is parked and ready, the 1st driver in line will Qualify. 1 out-lap, 2 Flying Laps, and on Lap 4, pull off the racing surface (onto the apron) after turn 2, and let the next person in line know its safe for them to start. Do not finish your 4th lap. Park it as if your heading into Pit Lane. Once everyone's finished their Qually Run, times will be collected.

Race:

Race will be 2-50 Lap Segments. Cosmetic Damage. One Mandatory Pit Stop per segment. Grid order at the end of Segment 1 is how the grid will form for Segment 2. First lap for the 1st segment would be for Grid formation, and dubbed the "Pace Lap"

Caution(s)

Caution(s)/Safety Car may be called if one or more drivers are involved in an incident. Everyone must coast (do not brake. we dont have brake lights) down to 75mph, and keep a reasonable distance from the car in front. once everyone is lined up, the driver in front may restart anywhere between the entrance to Pit Lane and the Start/Finish Line.

Firstly, i would like to thank everyone who partook in tonight's race. Secondly, i would like to apologize for all the hiccups and what-have-you that arose during tonight's Meeting. im still a rookie when it comes to trying to organize my own racing series. I hope next weekend @ Road America will run more smoothly.

in all honesty, i almost wanted to push this back til after the launch of FM4 so that the player/driver-count-per-lobby issue wouldn't have been an issue, but who's to know yet if the 'Stock Cars' will return

I wouldnt mind if this was held back if the 'stock cars' are confirmed before release date. 16 cars all drafting each other would make for excellent racing and we would also have Indianapolis and Sears Point to race on.

From Myself & JamiEngland, Thanks everyone for giving us a good & well organised race tonight, I apologise for our rookie errors, we can only get better (hopefully!)

We hope this runs on FM4 aswell, unfortunately we'll be missing the Benchmark races, due to DLC (and no, we can't just download it, money is hard to come by when your a 15 year old gamer!) Also out for Sedona, as I'm away that week & I think Jamie is aswell, looking forward to the next race. Thank You

No worries mate from what i saw you did great and most of the problems wernt your fault from what i saw. (connection issues ect.)

I Remembr how hard it can be running a series (Remember I ran TORA Formula Drift and TORA Demolition Derby)
