This is more of a practice / test series. Early next year will be the season 8 of the TORA GTs, with about 10 meetings of 2 races. With that in mind, I wouldn't worry too much if your way back

really struggling to get under 1.49:( think i will just take up position at the back of the grid.

At least your teamate will be alongside you.. 1 lap shoot out gives me some hope but I'm that far behind it's silly. And yes I know I chose the car!!!

dont worry too much gary i cant get out of the 1:49 area too, it baffles me how these guys can be 2 or 3 seconds in fromt of me, they should share their secrets with us all

yes im another skyrim victim too. but i not played it that much cus it dont support eyefinity out the box. ppl on widescreengamingforums are working on a mod to enable multiscreen, but still im not putting the laps in like i should.

Start off just driving round, always get the apex, don't push too hard, just keep building it up as you practice.

Practicing doesn't necessarily make you faster, you have to be patient when practicing, this works for me anyway. Just concentrate on hitting apexes, not getting quick times. Remember, concentrating on hitting the apexes gets you good times. Concentrating on getting a good time doesn't get you good times.

Nicky is right on the money. The more you focus on the time or focus on trying to go fast, the slower you actually go.
If you just think about literally circulating lap after lap and get into a really good rythmn you will unconciously go ALOT quicker. I guess that's what they call being in the 'groove'.

Wierd how it works. Also helps if you have a car that does exactly what you want. The less you're thinking about what the car is doing under you i.e trying to anticipate slides, odd braking characteristics and so on the more you can just drive.

So ultimately, the happier you are in the car, the quicker you will go too

I'm doing 1.49/1.50, guess it'll take a lot more practice and work on the controller setup to be on your 3 and 9. For now, I'll sit tight on your 6!

what kinda lap times on sebring?

i only know of my own, high 2:09's? not sure where that'll fall against anyone else

Not sure what ol' CMGraphix and co are doing laptime wise.

I work on the theory that in GT cars I'm usualy about 2 secs off the pace

Car feels like a ocean liner again but managed a 2.08.372, will get no where near that is qually tho And I doubt I will manage a top 6 tonight as the car doesn't feel racy at all round here :/

If I'm there tonight, then qualify will probably be my first practice laps! lol
