VW announces official two car entry into the Global Rallycross Championship for 2014. Drivers are un-announced as yet however they will campaign VW Polo's which will alter be replaced by VW Beetle Supercars

WRC for me is a bit like a chocolate cake, you get sick after watching so much, but it is so good to watch. RallyX is like "I am capable of drifting a car round some roads, but not like Nobushige Kumakubo." So for be they are both interesting sets of racing. In my opinion, F1 is the one that is too overhyped. All it is most of the time is "Vettel wins....... again"

I much prefer the more traditional form of Rallycross (which is really gaining steam this year with some top entries) which takes place on well established and historic circuits in Europe. Perhaps I'm just being old fashioned, but GRC is an utter b*stardisation of the sport.

Great to see. Red Bull are doing a good job as promoters. The economic downturn really hurt the WRC back in 2008/2009, so it's good to see some progress.

And will most likely be uploaded onto Youtube, which is where I'll end up watching it anyway. Waiting for a programme to come on the telly seems rather antiquated now.
