It's theoretical possible, but goes too far.
Turn 10 should fix that in the game, but it's very hard to find an solution.
When they ultimate lock the car, so that you can't even remove the locked tune, you could still come to the built by looking at the credits spent and looking at the car in photo mode.
What would be possible to program, but you couldn't practice, lobby host defines cars which are available to use for the others.

I loved going againest the CQR guys and to be honest felt I was just as quick in all the cars, I almost got Magic and I feel that I only lost to Jono due to a stupid mistake. Felt I could have been close to Box aswell.

I agreed with Dan that you have to limit the testing in these sort of events plus the cars must not be tuned to a drivers liking, thats why we didnt put champions in there own cars. I was very lucky as Ive got lots of TCC events under my belt, have won races in TASCAR & Won 4 LMPC races so that helped me with the group stages.

Since it might be near impossible to prevent practice, why don't you promote practice? Cuz then your not trying regulate something you don't have full control over, but your promoting it and for those that don't do it can't argue or complain there was an unfair adv. but also to that, giving the entrants a practice session that's mandatory, or atleast encouraged to show, the racing might be better and closer. Given that everyone takes the time n effort to practice the cars, every driver has a chance to win.

In the real RoC, do the drivers have time to practice? I know of other events that are similar where the drivers still get time to practice.

In the real roc its open to the drivers from Thursday, then asian roc of friday, nations roc saturday and drivers roc on sunday.

Regardless of drivetrain it is on you to be faster in all of them and not the series organizers to cater to everyone's strengths (it's impossible). Hell, I know that. I guess it's a moot point, as I DID have fun, I just hated to lose how I did. I'm not even really saying "CQR cheated by being better!" even though that's how it comes across. I just wish I went against him in an RWD car. It'd hurt less Razz

How do you think I felt, got beat by magic by 3 seconds, box by more and not telling against carrera( hit the wall but it would of been close)... So I got no wins! Lol

How so? It's the same car for everyone. The only thing your doing is learning the car to the track and how to drive it. Would be the same for everyone.

your right it would be the same for EVERYONE.... do you really want the best guys to know what there getting? The whole point of no testing gives the lesser known drivers the chance to get over best guys as the car may suit you but not the faster driver.

So practice doesn't help you get faster? Or anyone else, but it doesn't give anyone a better adv. than what is already there.

And idk about the past, but this year was evident. Box with no practice and took it without breaking a sweat. I squeezed in practice(with my own cars) so I could familiar with the track while having no assist, and I still got beat in all my group races. It wasn't really fun for me, and less fun to watch when guy wins w/o contest. For granted the racing was fun at the time, and a lil bit of the stream but still.

With practice everyone has a chance to learn the car(cars n track) and drive the best way they can. I know all drivers are different in skill level n driving but when you learn and practice, anyone has a chance...

+1 I've seen D Lobby racers knocking like 3-4 seconds off what they achieve when first going around a track, while the faster guys usually get within a second of the ultimate pace straight away.
