Etiquette of XBL friend requests?
Hi,
Are people here generally XBL 'friends' or do you just get together when the race lobbies open?
Would like more propel to race with when there's no organised events.
Thanks,
Steve

Re: Etiquette of XBL friend requests?
I don't know. The people on my friends list who race here I'm usually more 'friends' with than others. Such as CQR Franchitti & Flyin Mikey J; I talk to them more than any LMR members for example.
Usually we have scheduled official/unofficial test or practice lobbies open throughout the week.

Re: Etiquette of XBL friend requests?
If I'm understanding the question properly:
Yes, you'll find a lot of people on here are friends with other people on the site. You'll also find that a lot of these people met via actually racing each other or by joining up for practices and the like and have gone from there. The best way to 'meet people' is simply to race, join practice sessions etc, there's usually a core group of guys who you'll always find yourself with (give to take) and these people will probably become good friends with you. Better to send out the friend requests and party invites once your familiar with people and all that, rather than just randomly sending them out now!
[lol I'm totally not sure if this sounds ridiculous and somewhat childish]

Re: Etiquette of XBL friend requests?
Bandicoot explained it very well. You come race at TORA, get to meet the people in the qualifyiong and race lobbies, and you'll quickly find those that you "click" with, and usually become friends from there.
Re: Etiquette of XBL friend requests?
Also thought out a championship (TORA GT for example) you could be in the same lobby as a few other guys multiple times over the course of the season.
Which is great because you get to know how they drive and the racing becomes more intense as you sort of trust one another on the track when you put your car on the inside.

Re: Etiquette of XBL friend requests?
My point exactly Steven. The friendships I have made here at TORA are usually the result of some great races. Races so intense a bond was created.
Re: Etiquette of XBL friend requests?
That's the way it goes, you earn respect by having hard, close and clean racing.
