Game lag?

Hi guys,
Had my first race meet tonight and enjoyed it very much. I did notice quite a bit of lag tho.
We run a meet sometimes on a Sunday night and have found, that if you reset your router (switch off 30sec, then back on) before for going on line, it cures this problem 90% of the time.

Would like to hear your views on this.

My conn was fine for me, but apparently it was lagging for others in the last of today's three races. I wish I knew why this happens, maybe a thick cloud flew over...
