um, 1 thing
i know car list is done
but if the Z4 has those builds and handicap, i did some screwing around last night, and the SLS is exactly the same as the Z4, only 0.001 lateral Gs different and the power to weight ratio is great for different tracks, one suits one well, the other suits the other well..
i know it's been made official that that is the car list, no matter what, but i just thought it'd voice my thoughts

Maybe I overlooked it but I cant see the starting time.
I assume it will be 8 BST. I really like the lenght of the races but if the quali starts at 8 and the race probably at 9, it will be midnight in Europe to finish....and I have to get up early on Monday.
With GT the endurance started 1 hour earlier is it a idea to do it also for ISCC?

Possibly, we may adjust the start time for the longer races such as 2 Hours, but keep it at 8pm for the shorter 1.25 hours. I'll bring it up with the Staff.

The SLS wasn't part of the testing so we won't be including it, however we may look into it for later this year.

Another side of this would be for people who work shifts who dont finish until 7pm would then miss out, be a tough one to sort for both, another option could be a open qualy throughout week as and when a designated staff member is around?

I also like these ideas.
I hope there will be a sollution that works for all the parties involved.

Agreed and have already suggested to staff that we have a few Q sessions in week for longer races (Sebring, Le Mans and Petit Le Mans) for Q sessions, with 1 final session @ 7PM on race day with race starting at 8PM BST) so we dont get stuck with Q @ 8PM BST

Open qualification does seem to be a popular thing at a few places just now, might be worth a shot or at least have Q1 on a Thursday and Q2 on the Sunday before the race?

I would quiet happily sit in why someone qualifies if im online to note down the time unless keeping it in designated time slots is the preferred option. Most of the time im on im just sat in a party chat so doing a qualy for one or two people when needed is easy for me. I think some other series run it like that.

I agree with adder if it's possible that the time could be 1 hour earlier, because I also need to wake up that Monday Morning. Wink , but you guys need to
discuss if that is possible Wink

Traditionally, the racing has taken place at 8pm in all out series since we started. Whilst we are aware that we have many new members we also have a lot of long standing members who base their availability around our races and when then start. Changing one thing for somebody makes it completely different for someone else. We haven't done open qualifying before, so we may consider it or do set sessions throughout the week. Having the qualifying either open or decided before the race night could mean we start bang on 8pm and start racing straight away.

Going straight into the 2.5hr races or however long the one on the night is could work well. As we know all to well even the slightest issue during qualy can delay a night by a long way. *Fingers crossed Xbox one dedicatedservers*

This is really a minor thing but if you look at the calender:

07/07/13 - Round 1 - Sebring - 2 Hours
21/07/13 - Round 2 - Road America - 1.5 Hours
04/08/13 - Round 3 - Mugello - 1.25 Hours
18/08/13 - Round 4 - Suzuka - 1.25 Hours
01/09/13 - Round 5 - Hockenheim - 1.5 Hours
15/09/13 - Round 6 - LeMans - 2.4 Hours
29/09/13 - Round 7 - Catalunya - 1.25 Hours
13/10/13 - Round 8 - Motegi - 1.5 Hours
27/10/13 - Round 9 - Laguna Seca - 1.25 Hours
10/11/13 - Round 10 - Road Atlanta - 1.75 Hours

If you change mugello and Motegi or Suzuka with catalunya, it suits better( imo).

I'm interested in racing this, but I have a DTM series between 9 and 9:30-ish PM (BST) on Sundays. Could someone just give me a quick rundown of the time schedule so that I can see if there's a gap I can put the DTM series into so that I can do both?

Currently its 8pm Qually and roughly 9pm race start so you would clash with your current DTM. Depending on dates you run DTM it might be worth checking calenders side by sides as ISCC is fortnightly.

There is members who have stepped up on race nights to host that could help mid week who dont run in R8, Spec or fun cups etc so it could just ease the load on a few of the staff.
