Frustrating problem.

Whenever I try to load a game it says that "Your DirectX Runtime is out of date" and directs me to this download link to download it: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/downl...ils.aspx?id=35

However, I have downloaded it, but when it comes to installing it, I get the message "A cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted.
Please verify the Cryptographic Services are enabled and the cabinet file certificate is valid."

I've searched this site, google and Microsoft Support with no answers helping me at all. It's just so frustrating! I got my PC on Wednesday evening and can't play any games because of this. I'm using the Windows 8 Operating System if that helps.

oh that maybe the issue windows 8, go back to 7 is my first recommendation

Fixed. Still have Windows 8; I found a workaround.
