Le Mans 24h and ISCC Spotter Pic Tutorial
Hey all
Here's a quick guide to taking the pic for inclusion on the spotters guide. Please follow the instructions exactly. The point of the exercise is to have all of the cars photographed from the exact same angle, at the same scale, with the same camera settings, so adding a little artistic licence is just a waste of everyone's time!!
If you press "Take Photo" on the "Cars" menu on the correct screensaver angle, you should be presented with the car facing right-to-left (nose to the left) exactly square on to the camera, so you don't need/want to change the position of the camera from there where it is when you come in, only the height using the left trigger, and the pitch using the right stick (up).
Summary:
Pitch: 0.0
Yaw: 270.0
Roll: 0.0
Height: 2.0ft
Zoom: 1.0x
Camera effects: Reset to Default
If it's still too tricky, and you just want me to do it for you(!) send me a friend request and gift your design to me.

Re: Le Mans 24h and ISCC Spotter Pic Tutorial
Easy tutorial. Hopefully people won't get too confused!
Re: Le Mans 24h and ISCC Spotter Pic Tutorial
Awesome, I am glad to see that the Spotter's Guide has resurfaced after all
Re: Le Mans 24h and ISCC Spotter Pic Tutorial
May I note that half of the LMPs in the Spotter's Guide don't actually fit on the screen (as evidenced by your photos)?
Nonetheless, bloody marvelous as always!

Re: Le Mans 24h and ISCC Spotter Pic Tutorial
Sorry, what I meant is that the pics of the LMPs don't fit in the SG frame. Look at the back of the Ford Riley to see what I mean.

Yes, I understand that, however if I/you/people start manually adjusting the zoom to fit them on screen, it adds a level of "potential for error" where we'll get a mixture of scales and it'll look rubbish. I was trying to stick as near to a default camera angle/setting as possible so that the guide would look uniform (as it normally does). At this late stage I don't really want to make a change to the tutorial and make myself/everyone else re-take their photos....maybe something to consider for ISCC.

And I'd like to race under the Jolly Roger, but this isn't happening I'm afraid.

So I'd assume the Flag of Cascadia is out of the question for me?

"Yesterday"!
i.e. I need them as soon as humanly possible please. I've got a busy week, and I want to have it finished on Friday (that's not a cue for everyone to leave it til Friday because I won't be able to get it all done if it's all left til the last minute).
Re: Le Mans 24h and ISCC Spotter Pic Tutorial
i'll do mine tomorrow or have Adder do it once he's online for the cars
Re: Le Mans 24h and ISCC Spotter Pic Tutorial
I'll get the Moretti Racing Ferarri posted here hopefully today!

Re: Le Mans 24h and ISCC Spotter Pic Tutorial
Are we able to change the name of the chassis on the spotters guide to Toyota TS030 please

Should that be "Toyota TSfaux30"?!?!?
Guide updated a bit. Still missing plenty of liveries. Please help me to get the guide finished before the race by following the tutorial on Page 1 of this thread and getting a pic to me. It takes less than 5 minutes, so I'm not asking for much really!!!
