TORA CoD Ultra Hardcore

Just gauging interest in this... If you don't like Call of Duty, just hear me out and read on...  

Many years ago when MW2 was released, my friends and I would go in a private match and put the settings to what we called "Ultra Hardcore".

No matter the amount of players, it would always turn into a super tense game of Hide-and-Seek.

It was very fun but then my friends went off to Uni or joined the army or whatever and I haven't done it since. If you've seen me online you've probably seen that I play a bit of CoD pretty much most nights. I've just remembered the Ultra Hardcore thing and want to see if anyone's game for a tournament or something.

The rule of thumb was that explosives were banned, and Snipers as primaries. But Blops2 doesn't have any sniper friendly maps so any gun can be used. Chat was also limited to game-chat as well so there was no cheating

It was a lot of fun, most people had stealth builds, and it often turned into 10 mins of cautiously going around the map until you find the last guy left.

Trust me, this was a lot of fun back then and I'm hoping it will be just as good on Blops. If you're interested just say and we can arrange a date  

Anyway, the game rules are generally like this:

Maps: Large maps work best.
Gamemode: S&D

Gamerules-
Time Limit: Unlimited
Round Win Limit: 3 Rounds

S&D Settings-
Bomb Timer: 1 Minute
Plant Time: 3 Seconds
Defuse Time: 5 Seconds
Switch Sides: Every Round
Silent Plant: Yes

General Settings-
Scorestreaks: Not Allowed
Team Change In-Game: Not Allowed
Killcam: Off
3rd Person Spectating: Not Allowed
Revenge Voice: Off
Battle Chatter: Off
Announcer: Off
Exposive Delay: Off

Health and Damage Settings-
Health Regeneration: Slow
Friendly Fire: On
Teamkill Kick Limit: 2 Kills
Hit Indicator: Off

I'd be interested, haven't played much CoD since MW2 but back then S&D was the only way to go imo, bit more thought required.

sounds interesting, just wish COD had bigger maps so I could utilize the snipers rather than **** quick scoping.

Yeah it's a pain. We used to do it on Derail; If you haven't played it, it's this huge wide snowey map with two warehouses and a train track down the middle. You could hide in a bush with a ghillie suit and no one would see you

I'm sure I can persuade Wingnut + a couple others and Mondays sound good. Only problem I have is I don't have DLC so would only be able to take part in standard maps.

I don't have DLC either Just remember that Nuke Town is free now so we can do that too
