Re: The 'What's the most deadly thing in your area' thread
Teenagers selling weed and carrying guns doing 20 odd year olds bidding for them to be part of a gang.
Witnessed 1 of the 3 shootings outside my house 3 years.
There are postcode wars and a street away is the border, Each gang just goes on taking revenge on each other and robbing each other for drugs and kicks.
Hospital's If you go in for a simple procedure, Do not be surprised if you catch an infection of got negleted by nurses that are just in it for a job.
Lots of them in my local have been brought from abroad as they are qualified in their country and we have a shortage of nurses apparently.
There are lots of great hospital staff too but they are so overworked that things get forgotten unless you keep hassling them.
Seen tablets picked up off the floor and returned to patients tables.
Seen staff hide the fact a patient has an infection that requires them to be treated for weeks / months when should be a few days.
If your a cyclist or pedestrian the roads are lethal, Many people get knocked down at junctions and crossings.
Coke / Crack fueled people with a chip on their shoulder in bars n clubs that just want to fight every time they go out.
Foxes if your a baby / toddler
My mum if she's angry

They're pretty much the same thing as gangsters. The quotation marks mean that they're really not.

Re: The 'What's the most deadly thing in your area' thread
Bikers
Absolute pain in the arse. Many times have I almost been run down by a biker, it's like they think they own the road. No wonder they get hit by cars all the time, it's their bloody fault. Car drivers are spoon-fed since day one about "Thinking Bike" and checking blind spots. But bikers? They get nothing about pedestrians, overtaking cars, traffic lights... Same goes for cyclists too.
For instance, there's a particular one-way road on a particular hill in a particularly busy part of town where I live, with a pedestrian crossing at the top (traffic light ones, whatever they're called, some bird) on a slight bend.
On one occasion, I witnessed an old lady crossing the road with cars waiting for her on the red light. She was halfway across when the lights turned green. A motorcyclist comes rushing past all the stopped cars and goes through the green light, nearly hitting this old woman, just inches in front of her.
A second occasion, this same crossing was red again, I was about 100m down the road from it and since it was a one-way road, I crossed it. A cyclist ran the red light and headed straight for me without stopping or slowing at all. I knew if he hit me he'd be worse off so I stopped in the middle of the road to let him pass in front of me, gesturing (he was by the edge of the road) but instead he decides to swerve and go behind me and almost took me out, as if he hadn't even seen me at all until the last moment and overreacted.
Where I live, there's a huge gathering of motorcyclists (in the 100s) every Wednesday from about 6-9pm in the summer. Sometimes I go down and have a look. Utter prats a lot of them. Some of them are good-hearted geezers with their Harleys etc, but a lot of them are young teenage knobs pulling wheelies or whatever and getting themselves hurt.
About 5-10 miles away there's a small shopping estate thing, and on weekend nights a load of chavs in suped-up chavmobiles go there, play loud music and generally hoon around in the car park at midnight. They do 'drifting' (if it's even possible to drift a chavvy lowered Volkswagen). My friend's mum owns a 'drift car' (chavved Impreza) and does it. They're a weird lot anyway.

Jono is probably the most deadly thing in Cheshire. Particularly when he struts around in his mankini
