Rattlesnakes
water moccasins, cottenmouths (snakes that live in and around water)
cougars (rare but they are here)
wild hogs (you might laugh but a 400lbs male with 4 inch long tusks can run about 30 mph and they are very aggressive)
black widows
brown recluses
killer bees

Re: The 'What's the most deadly thing in your area' thread
Surely it's not so bad in the cities?
Scotland has wildcats and adders, but you'll never come across them unless you go out looking for them.
Also, not deadly, but since this thread is really just about Australia:

Teenage girls driving SUVs whether or not they are chatting on their cell phone.
A few months from now, black ice.

Honestly, if you live in the states... Anywhere in the states... Here are the top 3:
1. The fast food you eat which causes heart disease.
2. Your Car
3. The beer in your fridge/ the pain killer prescription you might have in the medicine chest
Honorable Mention: The gun you keep in your house.

It's the combination of the 3 (or 4) that causes the problems. Fat, drunk people trying to drive around this town is always a huge problem.
