This week's installment of our Ask A Racer TORA Q&A segment has me catching up to up and coming American GT racer and NASCAR "Road Ringer" Billy Johnson on his way to Road America.






What series do you currently race in?

Grand-Am CTSCC for RoushRacing and Rolex for Turner Motorsports.

Favourite car you have driven?

Aston Martin GTE or Ford Fusion NASCAR Sprint Cup car.

What would be your dream car?

McLaren F1

What's your favourite thing to do when you are not racing?

More racing! And some RC airplanes & helicopters.

What is your favourite circuit?

Too many tracks I like but Mosport and Road America are up there

Do you/Have you used race simulations?

Ive used IRacing but don't currently have it.

What is your proudest racing moment so far?

Winning Jack Roush Srs 400th win as a team owner and codriving with Jack Roush Jr.

Do you think more could be done to help young talent progress in motorsport?

I think so. There's plenty of talent out there with no funding. I was one of them and was fortunate to be in a few right places at the right times.

What's the plan for the rest of the season?

Finishing GS with Jack Roush Jr.
