I've still not managed to buy anything yet, I keep switching back to do the Franklin missions. I don't know if it's possible but I'm trying to complete em through one at a time.

I just went in as fast as I could with a ATV, crashed into a chopper and took off in it before a horde of soldiers killed me to death

Buy stock on the BAWSAQ in Ammu-Nation. As people buy guns and play it will skyrocket. Easy money

LOL, hopefully you don't manipulate the stock market like this game. You can buy stock in a car dealership, go around and destroy everyone else's products and dealerships, and your price becomes inflated. Same thing happens when you do jobs for Lester. Invest in what he tells you before you move on and make a killing. I don't know if banks work the same way if you rob them.

So, IRL, if I were to invest in McDonalds and then burn down all of the McDonalds I could find, it would inflate and I could sell for more?

Nope, if you burned down all of the Burger Kings, Wendy's, Taco Bell's, etc it would inflate.

Actually, if you bought a McDonalds and burned down all the others in your town you would. You can buy into McDonalds and you own the store so everyone would come to you.

Joined the TORA Crew. Not sure if it worked as I'm on my phone, but I'm ready for some online heists

I joined a crew of my mates, mainly because we heard we can have private games with just crew members. I may join the TORA crew st some stage, as the name we have is lame :/

Game is good though, happy I was able to bring my copy offshore and still play my save without connecting to XBL. Red Dead Redemption didn't read my saves as they had online things in them so had to start that from the beginning.

Just finished my first Heist and unlocked Trevor who is a blast!

Feel it's just starting to get really interesting now, Been spacing out the main missions with some activity and exploration in between to make it last a bit. Loving the game so far

Except my darn stocks not rising yet,

Does anyone know if with regard the team you pick for heists how poor the cheaper options might perform? Hacking i understand that you want the best but could i save a buck with the others? Advice appreciated

Use your missions to guide your stock buying. e.g. if you're going to assassinate the CEO of "company X", put your stocks in their rival "company Y". Lester's mission briefs usually tell you which stocks will benefit your actions. You can use the same strategy for heists, robberies etc. I made a ton on "Fruit" last night after an assassination mission.

Once you get the mission and stock tip from Lester, Kill yourself and choose not to replay the missin. Then go and buy up stock with all 3 characters before doing the mission. Make loads more

None of the GTA III, GTA VC or GTA SA characters are in the new GTA games, apart from Lazlow and Fernandez, the radio hosts (you get to see Lazlow for the first time ever in GTA V)

This is because those were in the old universe, called the 3D Universe, and GTA IV and V are in the HD Universe. What happens in each universe is completely separate from each other and none of the characters exist in both, however things like cars, companies, locations and other general lore exist permanently.
