Bought the game wednesday, and without any general plan of attack, I've got stuck at the point where trevor has to destroy a farm family meth lab... I bet everyone's got past this one with ease.

To be fair on my first try of the story i struggled a little with that one

I've tried going in all guns blazing, killed before getting near the farmhouse.
I've tried sniping from the nearest hill, killed after taking out the row of guys on the upstairs balcony...

...I could "skip" the thing, but that would be too easy...

i sniped most of the guards without them spotting me then just snook in and used sticky bombs and lots of cover to work my way through

I took out a few from long distance, ran up to the truck, took out all the ones i could see on the balcony, ran around to the right of the house and then cleared out...

If you buy a silenced sniper/rifle you can kill most of the guards before they notice. It's about timing.. If one of the others sees a guy drop dead, you have about a second to shoot him before everyone comes rushing towards you.

For some reason Rockstar have given me a total of 1.2 million :/ no idea why but came on when the update was released and they gave me 700k and then the other day i received 500k! cant complain like but i already have a few million
