Looks like we won't be able to do our GT team then, incorrectly assumed that the teams carried on as we had done 3 endurance events already this year, obviously not. study

Matt benedict racing are helping out a friends team formulaForza.com due to the person who runs that team is in hospital and the other drivers are busy , so if you read correctly, there are 3 teams from benedict racing

To be fair all the information was there long before the registration thread was even open, everyone should have expected it to be a rush for so few spots, with most things in life that are First come First served, you can't expect everyone to win, its just unlucky.

I cannot deny that I sympathise with the guys who didn't make it into GTE. We have always submitted large teams - 4 in each race so far and we went for 5 this time due to the 12 hours instead of 24 hours. I can assure you that if F4H feels a team can be dropped then we will gladly offer the team to the next group of drivers and not hog the slot.

I don't understand why all of the teams that are put into one post aren't even full teams. scratch

If you can fill your teams up, then it could leave one spot open for someone else that only plans on signing in one team.

We've submitted full teams. The only reason people do that is to safeguard their slot in a class only to add their drivers at a later date. Some people haven't finalised their teams yet.

Lol kidding, Im sure though sometimes its just teams trying to get in a spot with 2 drivers, to get in before a team with 4 drivers ready to race so they dont get in too late.

How is a website going to grow or people sign into what they want when the existing teams sitting on the forum take every spot? If you aren't sitting here waiting to push a button you have no shot of racing. Racing is for the track, not the forum. At the current rate someone is going to sign up 10 teams with one gamertag and put TBD for his team and his friends. It's just not right.

There's always going to be people on both sides of the fence, with the TORA organisers/admin being the ones in the middle dealing with all the complaints from whichever side doesn't get their way.

I can sympathise like Chrisupra has said, in the fact I too missed out on my entry making it into the Sebring round, however I was lucky enough to get a shot with another team who gave me their spare seat to take part.

The way the registration runs has been the same for a while, and to be honest, I agree with both sides.

However we only entered teams with 2 spaces MINUMUM, most with 3 or 4 not just one driver as that to me is slightly unfair, the reason being a couple of our teams are awaiting confirmation on availability from drivers who want to race those spots who are on a definate yes or just sorting work/personal schedules, we have enough interested members to fill each seat however we need to know they can make the race.

I will go as far as to do the same and feel if we by next week have two teams that can be merged, I will discuss with the team and see if we can do so in order to free up a spot.

I can't promise this as I have said we do have more than enough people wanting the few seats we have, but I will do my best to make sure it is fair.

I Wouldn't consider 12 Hours & 45 minutes a long time to sort out a team. I was busy & didnt check TORA for 1 day and now I have to drive a car I hate for a 12 hour race or dont race at all. That's all I have to say on the matter.

I think a good compromise here would be to make it so that one person can post in only one team per class at once, but they can still post in as many teams as they would like.

For example: If Mikey were to enter one Allied Forces GT team and two Allied Forces TCC teams, he could post in the GT and one of the TCC teams in one post, and then have to create another post for the other TCC team.

We've had teams sorted for a while, and even with some of the main guys away on personal buisness, we have managed to run several practice lobbies to decide on our cars, plan who will race with who and who can if they organise their home/work lives around it.

I'm sorry it didn't work out for you Hayden, but there has been plenty of time to get ready in preperation.

Can't agree more. Shame to know that out of the 28 spots open in GTE only 12 of them are different teams (correct me if I'm wrong).

There's no car caps for this round though, as it was complained about before, the staff removed the caps to keep people happy, they can't please everyone but can only do their best to please the majority.

Man, that contradiction didn't take long.

Fact is you submitted a post for 24 different people some which may or may not show up and yet there are multiple people standing on the side lines wanting to race, know they will, and yet can't. You alone took up 14% of the sign ups for the series so far.

We have the numbers interested to fill those spots, but I for one couldn't confirm my status until I had organised my college, work and home life to make the weekend, same as many others, one other team was full but the guys we were due to colab with had to pull out at risk the place they were moving to for Uni wouldn't have internet access for a while.

I also stated that if I feel we are holding one more spot than neccessary come next week, I will talk to the guys and free it up for the public here, to be honest I don't have to, as I have been on the other side of this argument before when no one cared, and wouldn't have even been able to race the first two races if not for a friendly gesture by someone.

Wasn't a contradiction if you highlight the facts.
