And to add to the above, i'd rather with the amount of people saying they can race and actually do want to, hold a spot open for them, so they can sort out their own lives around it so they can do so, rather than force them to miss out or make more work for the staff.

All the rules were up before this thread opened, I read them, and knew the risk of not making the cut, I apologise if people missed out, but it is stated in advance.

I have already said I'll see where people are come next week, as we may have one team ONLY left with 2 spots, if we can move them, we'll try in order to free up a spot, I am under no obligation to do so, neither is anyone else, it is a friendly gesture in sympathy, if you still want to progress, I will just say no and return to prioritising my own team.

Chris, I'm not trying to troll you the point I am trying to make is that it was only made aware to people 12 hours before that the registration would be opening when it did. If I knew that was when it would have been opened to post my team in but because we didn't check tora today we missed. For every other endurance event time of registration was set at least a week in advance so everyone knew where it would be. I didn't check the website for one day & now my team can't race. That is the point I'm getting at. Nothing to do with these multiple posts as that's part and parcel of the way TORA runs things.

So you're a nice guy while not being a nice guy? Nice attempted threat from a marshall no less but we would be so far down we couldn't get in anyhow. I'm simply explaining a point of view and doing so nicely if you want to consider this a progression and be an ass about it stripping someone actually deserving of a spot out go ahead and be that guy.

I see where you're coming from mate, and honestly I understand and do feel for ya, you'll have no problem finding a decent team who want ya to fill a spot mate Smile

I'm just pointing out out of ALL the people I signed up, there was only maybe 3 who could even post, but were not sure they were able to get it in for the 9pm dot.

I am not the only one to sign up for multiple people, if you are in a team, surely one of your own or someone you are with could have helped you get signed up? We worked together to have the LMR cars, and even the MKR car posted.

Where did I ever threat? I just stated I was trying to be nice, and instead you decided to blast it back in my face, there is numerous people signing up for several teams, I only see two willing to help out, and there's nothing to say we have to, or any of the other teams to, as we are not in any wrong.

I read the rules, and we have not broken any rules.

How is a website going to grow or people sign into what they want when the existing teams sitting on the forum take every spot? If you aren't sitting here waiting to push a button you have no shot of racing. Racing is for the track, not the forum. At the current rate someone is going to sign up 10 teams with one gamertag and put TBD for his team and his friends. It's just not right.

Can't agree more. Shame to know that out of the 28 spots open in GTE only 12 of them are different teams (correct me if I'm wrong).

i'll +2 that
i am in one of those 'big posting teams' so to speak, but we only posted 2 teams for GTE, 3 for TCC, not trying to defend CRA or any other teams that do this, just we didn't see the point of having 5 teams of GT and 'hogging' those GT spots that another team may want to use. not saying other teams do hog the GTE spots, just some are quite high.
also, we made sure we had our team lists sorted in advance so once cars were sorted everything would be ready to go, so none of this TBC stuff happened, some of our places (mainly 4th drivers) were left open just in case another club member decided they wanted but besides that, we had it all organised.

i really hope that you guys can race somehow, if a spot opens up or finds a team, hopefully next year a 5th lobby or even 6th lobby would be possible because it does such seeing a team not being able to sign up and race, in our class or not, our biggest competition or not, it sucks because it's what we're all here for

^ Next year there may not be a need for 5 lobbies, IF FM5 has as big a lobby as rumored. Two or three lobbies of 40 would suffice.

I doubt I'd ever get bored, as I do now when 14 cars are spread out around a 14 mile track. Seems I am always a mile ahead and a mile behind my two closest competitors after about 2 or 3 laps of the Green Hell.

Same here but in any TORA race :L . Worked to my advantage at Road America though as once pitstop a started I picked my way up the order and got decent mileage in but makes for a boring two hours

At LeMans, I pitted early because the racing was too close... then after pit stops cycled out, we ended up just as close... all three stints I did. Made for six fun hours of racing.

Will the teams that run at Silverstone 12hr have priorty for the Nurburgring 24hr race, like there was between Sebring and Lemans. The one week conformation period.

All Cars/Teams who entered the 12 Hours of Sebring have Automatically been re-entered for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. When entry open on Sunday the 2nd there will be one week of grace where currently entered teams may bow out of their positions. They will not be allowed to change cars at this time - if a Team changes car then they will be counted as a new team and not re-entered from Sebring. Drive changes may take place in this fist week. If a team decides to remove their entry they will not be allowed to re-enter until the first week is up. When the first week is up then entry will re-open for the remaining free spaces and this will be first come first served. Cars Caps and Class Caps will remain the same from Sebring.

Bandit its a 12hr race so you can get through it with 3 drivers
