MSA TORA Touring Car Championship - Round 1, 2 & 3 - Silverstone National – September 3rd 8PM BST

To make sure your invited to this race, please post "IN" in the for provided in this post, before 7PM BST on the 03/09/13 We ask that all competitors are on Xbox live 15 minutes prior to the start of the race meeting, make sure their NAT settings are setup correct, and appearing online to everyone. Any competitor who does not follow these runs a very high risk of not receiving an invite, or being able to compete. [/color]

Qualifying
- A 0 second roll off delay will be in effect you have to find your own space on the track. Collisions will be set off, and damaged will be limited.
- Qualifying will be set to 6 laps, 1 warm up lap, 4 qualifying laps and a last slow-down lap used for the lobby hosts to collect times before competitors cross the line to finish the session. "Clean" qualifying laps are over "Dirty" laps. A slower "Clean" lap will start the race ahead of a quicker "dirty" lap. Make it count!

RACE

Race 1 -  conditions begins under standing start with a formation lap in the order in which the competitors qualified
Race 2 - conditions begins under standing start with a formation lap in the order in which the competitors finished Race One.
Race 3 - conditions begins under standing start with a formation lap in the reverse order in which the competitors finished Race Two.

Parade Lap

Competitors will perform a single Formation lap to set the grid positions, before a standing start on lap 2 begins race conditions.  When the lead driver reaches the start/finish straight, the driver will form up in the relevant grid slot. Each driver behind must form up in their order in the relevant grid slots.  

Settings
- Collisions during all races will be on, and set with Limited. All driving aids will be banned apart from Driving line. Steering will be a choice between "simulation" & "normal" due to issues made aware by Fanatec for wheel users.
-Each race will be approximately 20 minutes in length, denoted by a set number of laps. Racing conditions will end upon all competitors crossing the finish line. All drivers must remember the position they finished in case the host doesn't get time to write down the orders. If we don't know where you finish, you'll class as a DNF

Out for race 2 and 3, been having problems since getting VirginMedia installed on my 3rd engineer call out in the space of a week this Thursday. Cut out mid race 1 after making a good start, gutted to say the least!

Once again, in a lobby that CQR Aero is hosting, i lag out. Not the only one either as in race 1 Jersey Jackhawk lagged out. Plus other people are complaining abot lag from other drivers, NOT me before you say it!  

A lag out is not caused by the host, all connections are P2P so if you lag out its down to your own connection dropping no one else. As for people lagging again Aero has no control over it thats down to people with high pings or running poor wireless signals.

I've ran with Aero for a very long time and he can live stream races if I'm not mistaken. I seriously doubt it's him.

There was a fair bit of lag in Lobby B as well, seems everyone had the problem.

Tonight every lobby has had lag outs........ no need to pin the blame on one person.

You lag out when anyone is hosting MeaDo.

Good Races tonight, got roughed up in the 3rd but I s'pose that's part and parcel of Touring Cars.

WE had a massive lag spike/crash in F causing severe damage to 2 of us (i have nice clean A grade line completly open NATS) and havent seen this for a year when live was playing up for everyone. I quit out as the host wouldnt restart due to only being 2 affected as per the rules. Turn 3 on lap 1 with 100% engine and various high numbers elsewhere and unfixable aero, i saw little point carrying on being 3000 ft down before lap 1 was complete before having a pitstop  

^^ Do realise there are 3 races, lag happens nothing we can do but point people towards making sure have best net connection which is a given however lag happens for various reasons, not TORA or hosts fault not forza fault no 1 fault

From my point of view there was some great racing in lobby C, had a few good battles with Simon One, Jersey Jackhawk, Newt and Myles Prower.

enjoyed race 1 going door to door & bumper to bumper with you hainesy, good respectful clean racing. oh yeah, well done on keeping it on all four wheels as well  

gutted to blow a pole start and wind up 12. missed breaking point and ruined me and shafters chance in r1. race two was good until a small lag between me n nightmare causing me to spin as i rear ended him n again shafter had no where to go except into me. sorry again shafter. r3 was awesome started 2nd behind juicy and we took off staying no more than 100 ft from each other. with him making his bumper as wide as poosible i had to pressure him with my venom and wait to strike. sure enough the venom settled in and he got a little sideways through turn 1 and i was there to strike and hold on for the win. great racing on everyones part but mine for the first two races. see u guys soon.

Not sure how I'm supposed to respond to that, but if you think you can get away with using the language you did in the lobby AGAIN (second time) you're dead wrong.

Good fun in lobby C tonight. Tough but fair,

1 issue though is I saw my position on live timing in race 3 as 8th, I actually finished 4th.

Live timing not currently working though so may be changed already for all I know

Had a lot of fun though
