X999 LMP Sprint Races = TCR Can-Am Series

Can-Am started out as a race series for Group 7 sports racers with two races in Canada (Can) and four races in the United States of America (Am). The series was initially sponsored by Johnson Wax. The Series was governed by rules called out under the FIA Group 7 category with unrestricted engine capacity and few other technical restrictions.
The Group 7 category was essentially a Formula Libre for sports cars; the regulations were minimal and permitted unlimited engine sizes (and allowed turbocharging and supercharging), virtually unrestricted aerodynamics, and were as close as any major international racing series ever got to anything goes. As long as the car had two seats and bodywork enclosing the wheels, and met basic safety standards, it was legal
Welcome to the TCR Can-Am Series.
Open top LMP cars fully upgraded and tuned to X Class/000 PI, will thunder around five real world US circuits. No build rules. No car limits.This is bound to be the fastest road racing series in all of TORA.

Has any stock testing been done with these cars? Just curious how competitive they are from car to car.

I have done a little bit, but to be honest LMP is all new to me as a CBA Class racer. Seems that they got more equal at 999PI than they were in R1 class. And the "best car" varies from track to track, like in Trans Am.

Even if there is a better car, it will be fun. I plan on doing some Storefront shopping for tunes, as that should make things easier.
