Re: X999 LMP Sprint Races = TCR Can-Am Series
Maybe two weeks... possibly three.
I have some real world stuff that needs taken care of, so I need to take a small break between series this time.

Well mates,
I will like to be in this serie, but the time established is too difficult to me to be on time, so enjoy...

If I'm on, shoot me an invite.... Oh, and, in can-am they hadn't developed the training wheels errrr ummmm TC/ABS/TSM/ or those funny red/green lights that appear on the track when you are supposed to stop and start correct? I take it they are banned in this Can-Am series?
Re: X999 LMP Sprint Races = TCR Can-Am Series
Hmm... I hadn't thought of that, but am 99.99999999% sure that I will be dead last without the training wheels. The Posimosh wrote:If I'm on, shoot me an invite.... And I can guarantee that the cars were not indestructible, but I am going with cosmetic damage to keep it "fun" for most.

Re: X999 LMP Sprint Races = TCR Can-Am Series
Was going to use the R15++ but after trying against other cars it was all over the place. Difficult to keep a handle on it. May revert to my Arx-01b or Minardi F1 car
Do we need to keep the same car at every track?

Re: X999 LMP Sprint Races = TCR Can-Am Series
^ Numbers and series stickers are all that are required.
I know that the cars are rather expensive, but most can also be bought cheap at auction. 1000 Cr for an Acura, Porsche or Chevrolet is pretty darn cheap.

My opinion is to make everyone use the car they select in the beginning to keep the series a bit more serious. Just my opinion.Flyin Mikey J wrote:^ Numbers and series stickers are all that are required.

These races weren't really meant to be taken that serious. They are usually for fun.XPR ChicaiN wrote:My opinion is to make everyone use the car they select in the beginning to keep the series a bit more serious. Re: X999 LMP Sprint Races = TCR Can-Am Series
Fun and racing go hand-in-hand. The only issue I had with the Trans-Am series was people picking different cars for different tracks and at random times. Didnt much like that. I think a great idea would be to select the three closest cars and make each driver use one of each car in every event since there are three races per week.Bandit1097 wrote:These races weren't really meant to be taken that serious. Re: X999 LMP Sprint Races = TCR Can-Am Series
If I forced everyone to stick with one car, I am afraid there would be no variety at all. In testing I found a couple cars to be best for most tracks, but a couple others to be slightly better at a couple tracks.
As for "a bit more serious", I want everyone to have fun. The more serious things get, the less fun people seem to have.

Re: X999 LMP Sprint Races = TCR Can-Am Series
As for limiting the series to three cars, I was hoping to have a series with as few limits as possible. That was the whole idea behind the 999PI X Class builds in the first place.

Series stickers are done and ready to be sent next time I am on XBL... tonight maybe.

Re: X999 LMP Sprint Races = TCR Can-Am Series
Seeing as there are four very quick entries, I'll be in that battle for fifth most of the time. The lead battles could be rather epic, but the only way I will ever see it is in the replays.
