Re: Le Mans News
Fisichella was really good in F1! It's just that he went to Ferrari to replace Massa then couldn't get a F1 drive from then on putting him in sports cars, and i love a F1 driver in sportscars all the ones you named Louis then there's Wurz and Davidson! Can't beat a F1 reject in sportscars!

If we remember correctly, anyone who was in F1 that wasnt that great (Pedro Lamy, Jan Magnussen, Giancarlo Fischella, ALAN MCNISH!) turned out to be incredible talents behind the wheel of a sports car. (Pedro Lamy, Jan Magnussen, Giancarlo Fisichella, ALAN MCNISH!)
Lamy, Mags, and McNish (Toyota was terrible in F1) never really got a fair shot in F1 imo, so I wouldn't really say that they disappointed there. Fisi is a race winner in F1, so he couldn't have been that bad. He would have won Spa for Force India in 2009 had it not been for Kimi's KERS.
Nakajima on the other hand was utterly dominated by Rosberg at Williams. In 2009, he scored no points to Rosberg's 34.5. Now it may very well be that he is a sports car god waiting to be unleashed upon the world, but if I was Toyota and had to make a team that was going to be able to compete against Audi and Peugeot, I would not pick 2 drivers that I know are very good (Wurz, Lapierre) and then a 3rd driver that may completely suck if his past driving is anything to go by. Especially not when there are so many other drivers that I could get that I know for sure will be up to par against the other factory teams.

Re: Le Mans News
You say Lamy, Magnussen and McNish never got their fair share at F1 and are comparing him to someone who is out running the "great" (but not so great in my mind) Michael Schumacher in the same car! Rosberg could have been the one that stands out over the rest on pure tallent, hence why he's in F1 still. Nakajima had to be impressive somewhere otherwise he never would have gotten the ride. The Williams at that time (or now as well) wasn't that great. So i believe Nakajima is going to be the next McNish, Lamy, Herbert, Magnussen, Wurz and Alboretto

Re: Le Mans News
2010/11 Schumi isn't the same as the 2004 Schumi. I think Rosberg is good, but he isn't great. He managed to score a fair amount of points in 2009 and Nakajima didn't.
I hope that Nakajima turns out to be a great talent because I want to see Toyota be able to compete with Audi and Peugeot, but I'm just not sure that will be the case.

Re: Le Mans News
give them a year or two to refine the Hybrid system as it is extremely unproven outside of Porsche's venture but that was GT's. Last time a Prototype ran it before last year was the Sparky Panoz and it didn't make it past pre-qualifying.

Re: Le Mans News
although in fairness, Wurz wouldn't leave Peugeot and sign for someone else unless he felt it was capable of winning.

Re: Le Mans News
Now that STR have dispatched Sebastien Buemi, would it be possible that Rebellion could hire him....or is the swiss connection just me overthinking things.
