Snap! Flux is goodBG Beanz wrote:I'm on Chrome, Mac, 1440x900, only thing i can notice is the 'quote' and 'edit' button etc. are hard to read. They seemed ok earlier, but i am running this program called f.lux which alters the warmth of your screen for when under certain types of light at night time. I install it on all computers i use now, it's a great bit of kit.
Link: http://justgetflux.com/

I have that problem too, but I know what the buttons say and Flux only kicks in in the evenings so I've ignored it. But I don't like those buttons anyway, so I'm going to change them to something a little lighter that doesn't stand out as much

I really like the red bar underneath the top header on the main page... its great.
Only thing is, the quote/edit buttons are a bit hard to see with the grey writing... any chance they could be made white text Stan?

TEC logo needs to change colour to something lighter.

To be honest, you can clearly see the TEC logo right above it anyway... It's no big deal right now.XPR Roadrunner wrote:TEC logo needs to change colour to something lighter.

Re: Upcoming Changes to the Forum
I noticed it a while ago when I first changed the colour of the headers, but the TEC will be finished in a few weeks anyway so there's no need to fuss over it. The problem is that the image is the same as the one used on the forum homepage, which has a white background, so I can't really adjust it for one without the other not being very visable.XPR Roadrunner wrote:this is true, but it bothers me. lol if it was the XPR site, I'd be on that like white on rice

Re: Upcoming Changes to the Forum
ah, well this is also also true. Couldn't you make a separate image and upload it to just that section?

The new logos for the headers on the top banner are nice...

Re: Upcoming Changes to the Forum
Just a quick one for ease of access, as it seems a few of the TCR series are staying 360 is there the possibility of having a screen where you select either the One or the 360 and it takes you to a relevant forum page? Just a thought

Re: Upcoming Changes to the Forum
Or segregate the race series sections by console? A section for XB1 series, and a section for 360 series.MichaelJGroves wrote:Just a quick one for ease of access, as it seems a few of the TCR series are staying 360 is there the possibility of having a screen where you select either the One or the 360 and it takes you to a relevant forum page? Re: Upcoming Changes to the Forum
I have noticed something guys..
Not sure if this was mentioned earlier but if you are logged in to this forum you can see the red bar on top of the screen where you see the white letters saying Website and Index and TORA Live and so on..
If you are not logged on to the forum or if you log out then that red bar disappears.. And with that the white text is not readable anymore

Re: Upcoming Changes to the Forum
might just me and my astigmatism, but the white on red at the top with the TORA live and Website etc is really difficult to read, maybe black on red or white on something else, otherwise it's really difficult to see (might just be me thought)

Re: Upcoming Changes to the Forum
Some slight changes to the header and menu you may have noticed:
The search box has been removed from the menu. There is already a link to the search function in the menu anyway, so if you need to search the forum for something, use that instead

Re: Upcoming Changes to the Forum
Has something changed? I can't access the forums from the URL www.forums.theonlineracingassociation.com or if I click 'Forums' on the homepage tab. But the forum works fine with the URL toraonlineracing.forumotion.net
Any reason for the change or is anyone else experiencing this? Site is working fine on my phone (www.forums.theonlineracingassociation.com), leading me to believe this could be a Chrome issue.

The URL is forums.theonlineracingassociation.com - no need for www.
The link on the homepage works for me, nothing has been changed in that area, so I assume there's something up with your browser. I use Chrome too btw.

The forums were down for an hour or so yesterday evening, at least using the same link as I am using just now.
