No this'll strictly be GT3, to better emulate the FIA GT3 Championship.

Is there a car re-badge system here, becuase I want to say that my Porsche is a HYbrid, even though we all know its really not?

So on the entry list be called Porsche Hybrid I guess?JamesHall94 wrote:Is there a car re-badge system here, becuase I want to say that my Porsche is a HYbrid, even though we all know its really not?
Personally I dont see an Issue here, because the car actually raced. Just I would find a F458 Re-badged to be a Suzuki Lola is silly.

6 Race Series - Starts 12th January 2013 - Sundays (Time TBC)
I am thinking about entering this series but would like to know the starting time first.
Will it be at a 20:00 GMT starting time?

Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
Ok thank you, other questions:
I am looking at how long the races are but can not find anything about it.
How many laps or time for a race?
One or two heats per evening?

I should have all that info up on the rules section....
Probably not knowing me. For that I thank you for pointing this out.
Anyways around a 10min Quali and then two 30-40mins races standing stands. So should be around 15lap races.
I think Round 6 will be an hour race just a single round though I believe.

[quote="ShrinkingSteven"]
Correct on all counts there Steven 40min races would be good, and yes the final round at the Nordschleife will be a 1HR race and will be the only one to have a mandatory pit stop. Ideally I would like qualifying to be at 8pm and the race at 9pm as this would work better for me but will consider the thoughts of everyone else taking partRacert46 wrote:Anyways around a 10min Quali and then two 30-40mins races standing stands. Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
This brings a new question, how will the grid be set for the second race? Reversed / Lobby points (like BG mclaren up) / same as first race / result from race 1?TweekPunx wrote:ShrinkingSteven wrote:Correct on all counts there Steven ;)40min races would be good, and yes the final round at the Nordschleife will be a 1HR race and will be the only one to have a mandatory pit stop. Also i think that starting at 9pm is a bit late, after a 10min quali at 8pm, why not do quali get the times in spreadsheet and set up lobbies right away? 50 min waiting is a bit long imo.
I say this because I am GMT+1 and starting at 9pm your time is 10pm my time so if i have to do 2 races of 40 min it will be around 11:30pm when it ends on a sunday evening....
The way the BG mclaren cup was run worked very well in my opinion, only the races were shorter around 25 min.
Just my 2 cent.

Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
Will probably be reasults from race one. We currently looking at2 lobbys of 12 drivers, so we should after quali be set ready rock and roll by 8:30 or earlyer.

Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
If there is still people interested in racing in this series, then I have two spaces for drivers in the Ferrari 458 GT. I'm a relatively competitive tuner so tunes would be readily available if needed, as well as the RaceART Competition paint.
Re: European GT championship. General discussion.
I shall put this here Before I think about adding it to the rule book etc.
Would anyone like the sound of the Qualiflying start time pushed forward from 7pm GMT to 7:30pm GMT
And still try to start the race at 8PM GMT.
What we shall do is send out all invites for Qualiflying before 7:30pm and start on the dot or before if all people are in the lobby.
Thoughts guys?
