41.7 is my best. Need to get out on track again.

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
If I could get below 1.44.6's I'd be happy. Its a total crapper when you accidentally overwrite on the tune and setup you had worked on for the past ten days.
Best part is... that's the second time I have overwritten a saved tune, you'd think I'd have learnt by now.

I believe I picked the wrong car.... I'm quicker and more consistant in the Jaguar than I am in the Ferrari (or any of the other cars for that matter).... Such a shame we can't swap.

I know how you feel mate. My best Time in the Porsche is a 1.41.6 and I can not go faster.

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
The Corvettes poor acceleration is biting it on this track. Not to mention I am bloody awful here

Your still lapping and your gona be racing with people of similar speed so the numbers make no difference, your just gona have fun and that's all that matters!
Remember a clean lap will be worth more than any dirty lap time even if it's 10 seconds faster!!

If u love racing you'll like it hear, make sure u have read all the rules of the racing and understand the way the meeting will work, the better you prepare yourself the less chance u have of mistakes and stress through the night, racing here is a whole new level!
I was pretty good at sim racing until I joined here! Now I'm just average!
Follow the rules
Keep it clean
And enjoy your racing
Hope u have a great night.
I'm now going on xbox, if u want sed me a friend request my user name is easy to type in ad I'll try and help if I can

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
Couldn't agree more with what Dave said above, many of us were fast before joining TORA and then you join up and see some of the lap times these guys put and it amazes you how the hell they do it, blistering fast!
As Dave said however, enjoy yourself, lap your own race and don't worry how slow you are compared to others because at one point everyone was in the very same boat. Good luck tonight

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
Well that was a poor quali time by moi. Almost predicted that result before even qualifying, no-one to blame but the XBOX for wiping all my saved setups and liveries. LMAO totally ridiculous time but good fun all the same.
Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
Both races a TCC style warm up laps? even though the vote that won stated race 2 is a launch start?

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
well when i posted that it was about 2 hours from race finished,
i had a spare car at Mugello already, c'mon, it is Ferrari's racing test track besides fiorano, so I left as soon as the race finished, team is packing up for me as we speak and it was only an hour flight give or take

Thats true but check in/out? Traffic to and from the circuits still a feat of achievement you did there.

I done a 1.49.834 in the Silverstone & Hockenhiem tune. Tweaks are definitely needed though :/

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
I'm expecting the Corvette to be great around Mugello. It has great top speed and it has the best stability out of all cars. Mid-engined will also do good around here, Mugello really likes mid-engined cars.
Hopefully my little Z4 won't let me down. It prefers fast long corners over sharp short corners. My Z4 works better on American tracks (Road America and Road Atlanta for example), Mugello has a bit of an American flow. So who knows, it might work!
