An interesting evening, my first real attempt at a series on Forza 5 and i have took alot of positives out of the night, so much so, i almost smiled!! Thankfully though, it was just a bit of wind from the Mexican Rice and Bean Casserole i did for Tea this evening. First time i been happy to suffer 20% engine damage, not quite sure how i did it, but the simulation damage meant losing around four seconds a lap and yeah, it was a far more realistic situation than you ever had on Forza 4 and with the repairable aero now, it may well make pit stops a part of things a bit more, especially in the longer endurance type races.

Really missing the distance meter though, im a cockpit driver, always have been and that would never change, but i used to use the distance meter alot for the knowledge of where people were to me and i cant do that now and its taking a bit of getting used to the blind spot. But overall, a good evenings entertainment, decent atmosphere, good racing throughout the grid and yeah, looking forward to Sebring

Theres a few more shots on the Wheelwash Racing & Media Facebook Page although i will admit, only took eight shots at the moment and three of them are above. Replays are on Forza TV under TORA Spec CRX R1 for Race One and i shall let you work out the titles for race two and three. They will be up till next Tuesday probably

The form is usually locked an hour before qually starts to give me/the other hosts a chance to do all the pre-race admin. Tonight I was a bit behind so it didn't get locked until 7:15. Round 2's form is now up and available for signing in. Hope to see you on track at Sebring! Cool

Just did a 10+ laps around laguna to se what sort of pace i was getting and did a 1.46.268.

That's a good time for Laguna Seca, I was hitting 1:50-51's for example, while the leaders were hitting around 1:45-46.
