For every 1 having connections issues last night please take a look at this thread, staff will always do there best to get you into race, but if you can not connect is not staffs fault

Staff make sure they have a open NAT settings so connection issues with lobby hosts is usually your end.

This is one of the closer areas near me for said test ((minimum of a 90 min drive?))

I give up. I am sh**e with computers and I'm sticking to that claim!

I've tried and tried all sort of combinations of username and passwords, but there's one area which is stopping me from opening the NAT on my router.

It's normally just admin and password. In that order

I don't know if I'm in the right place here for my question, but last sunday I signed up for my first race with TORA, but when I got invited to enter the lobby I got the message I could not get connected with the other player(s). My NAT is open and my internet speed is not that slow (download 18 mbps, upload 1,8 mbps). Can anyone tell me if there is anything I can do to take part in the next race. I can upgrade my internetspeed 1 more time with my current provider, so if that's the case I don't mind to pay a bit more for my internet. If not ... help anyone? Is there a way to test if I can enter the lobby before the next race or should I sign up again and hope I get through the next time?

Sometimes, when multiple people are trying to get into the lobby at the same time, it won't let anyone in.
How many times did you try to get into the lobby?

Hmm sounds like you've done everything right so far. A couple of other drivers also had a connection issue within the lobby you were meant to be in, so I suspect the issue was with someone else having a Moderate or Strict NAT who was already in the lobby.

In future, could I suggest that you contact your host (join or invite to party, or at least send a message) to let them know you're trying to join but struggling. We can then work to try and get you into an alternative lobby.
