TCC S9 Laptimes

Nurburgring GP Short - 1:33.5xx in the Audi. Managed to shave a whole second off compared to the last time I tested at this track which is ace  

Crist an I thought my 34 was fast but I seem to be well off the pace for nurb my fav track and in s#*t at it lol

ill have a bash around Nurb Short tonight and post my time up soon

I believe fastest megane time last year was a 32.7. I think pole was 32.4. Not positive,  but so far early testing last night 32.9 in my megane.

i managed a 33.6 how the hell u 7 tenths quicker -.-

Just had a quick go and did a 1:32.3 clean in my Megane

This.. The megane needed to be dropped... People said it before we started but no1 listened because your minds were set... I'm setting a 1:35:205 with no tune ATM but coming close to a megane this race? Please the only driver that can come to close to it is Mad Dog and we all know that...

And Devil 32.9
I reckon 34.8 would be a balls to the wall lap for me

Yes the Megane is a quick car BUT IS BY NO MEANS THE QUICKEST.
The SEAT, Both Kias, The 3 Hondas, BMW 1M, Volvo S60, Veloster are all just as quick if not quicker on certain tracks, Even the Pug RCZ can match it.

Seat Cupra's locked out 1-2-3 on the grid here last season with a pole of 1.32.2. The Megane isn't the problem, you guys just aren't driving quick enough in the other cars...

Arghhhh I don't know where I'm losing so much time at... I'm going flat out or as fast as what the car will let me go and I can only manage a 1:35:2.... If someone can make a tune for the insignia and send it my way, that would be great.. It's not the track because I love the track.. And Nurburgring associated track, I love and I have lived on countless times.. (raced hours on end). The insignia is just no good round here. thanks in advance

Your getting tired of this debate because you would have to work twice as hard to even get one of those cars back up to the pace you can run in the megane.. The megane has the fastest base tune and possibly the easiest to work with... Lap times are not comparable when someone is storming of 1-2 seconds faster than mid pack runners.. But as you stated, it's only on certain tracks.. The megane sets a fast and competitive lap time round every track, and with a bit of tweaking, the fastest lap round every track.. If your so bored of the debate about which cars are fast and which aren't, change to a RWD at the mid way point, then see how you fair up against the rest of the field.. You seem to of named 7 FWD's and 2 RWD's, which shows the dominance a FWD car has.. Changed to the 135i or the Insignia... It would be fun watching you struggle for Lobby A in a car that you know can't compete.. rant over.

You clearly didn't watch TORA TV's coverage of TCC Season 8 then... CQR D4N13L finished 3rd in A lobby in the BMW 135i at Mugello Club, but yeah sure that cars not competitive either and needs a 3 second PI boost.

i think you find if you give nightmare any car he will put it straight into a lobby its in his nature he tests and tries so many different builds and funnily enough nightmare didnt want to drive a megane, he was going to drive a focus and the he hopped into a team without knowing what car they were using, so your points with nightmare struggling in any other car is complete BS christ a while back he was using a ds4 and got it going quick so not everything is to do with the car its also how fast the driver can make it go and try to etch out the extra tenths which nightmare has always done

I agree with magic, last season A lobby had a mix of cars at every race, I only just scraped into A lobby at nurbergring last year in my megane and the races were dominated by the seats.

im running 1:33:6 in the Megane im gonna try and tune a Insignia today to match that, if not it just proves that it has to do with how people drive it is not always the car, im Slower then mad dog and hes in a RWD it is not always solely to do with the cars that are picked its the driver aswell, so everyone needs to stop moaning and aiming there hate towards the Megane Drivers jesus Pick the Megane ur self if u feel like it makes that much of a difference to your RACE PACE its Driver Skill more then Tuning the Car why do people blame the Megane yeh it maybe easier to tune but people will Take there time tuning a car Such as myself to get them times down i cant do a 5 second tune and be hitting 1:33's off the bat

It's been proved for the past few seasons that the cars are evenly balanced, it's all about finding the right tune and build and coupling that with a fast lap.

Back on subject lol, I have done a 33 flat, still 3 tenths off my quali last year.

Just to make sure it's not my driving, I jumped into the Kia Forte Coupe and managed a 1:34:6... The RWD's just are not competitive enough.. But the FWD's are the easy way out.. And why would I want to jump into a car that gives me an extra second a lap... I prefer to struggle to keep up rather than steam ahead every race

another thing also, before i even started this series me and my Cousin DVN Awesome did testing with both FWD and RWD and yeah the Megane was a couple tenghts quicker be we had a Legacy going around catalunya at 1:19 deads :/ but the Megane just pinched it and we didnt have much time to choose a car so we chose the car we thought we be more competitive from our Driving Skills

No, that just proves your not as slow in a FWD car. You're still 2 seconds off the pace in FWD, and 3 seconds off in RWD. RWD cars won the most races last season, but yeah sure make them faster

No, that just proves your not as slow in a FWD car. You're still 2 seconds off the pace in FWD, and 3 seconds off in RWD. RWD cars won the most races last season, but yeah sure make them faster   

that was also a RWD car that everyone over looked and underestimated, god we gotta love the swedish guys
