Chicago, IL - High Speed Racing announced today that Dutch brewing company, Heineken will be the team's primary sponsor for the fourth season of the TORA GT. Secondary sponsors will include Infineon, BP, and Tag Heuer.

Chicago, IL - High Speed Racing is happy to announce an addition to its driver line-up. The team welcomes adam20692 on board for Season 4 of the TORA GT. This leaves one seat open and interested drivers should P.M. Highcroft.

New York, NY - High Speed Racing has unveiled their cars and new livery today at New York City. The team will field a BMW M3 E46 Coupe, Porsche 911 GT3 RS, and a Honda NSX-R GT for Highcroft, adam20692, and Xcalibr83 in the upcoming season of the TORA GT. Monterey, CA - The Official Pre-Season Test of the TORA GT will take place this Sunday at Mazda Speedway Laguna Seca. Close to twenty cars are entered for the season opening test and this will be the first public running for most of the teams.



High Speed Racing will be represented by Highcroft and Xcalibr83 during the official test. This is an excellent opportunity for the team to learn where they currently are in terms of performance with the other competitors.



"It's exciting to get back to the track after such a long break. Laguna Seca has been one of the team's more successful tracks, with our drivers having finished 2nd and 5th in previous seasons. I'm confident that the team will perform well at the test and for the whole season." said team founder, Highcroft.

Monterey, CA - The Official Pre-Season Test is now complete and here's an analysis on what happened on the track for High Speed Racing driver, Highcroft.

Qualifying - A new season and a new qualifying format. Highcroft had to adjust to this season's new qualifying system.

Highcroft - "With only one lap, I was nervous to push any harder and run the risk of not getting a qualifying time in."

Highcroft finished qualifying with a time of 1:25.900, good enough for 7th and pole position in Lobby B.





Sprint Race - For the sprint race, Highcroft sat on pole in Lobby B. He was able to hold onto the lead into turn one but that lead was short-lived. Highcroft had a slight braking error in the corkscrew and this allowed Selective Rogue and lfcnicklfc to drive past him. Highcroft would hold on to third and finish 9th overall with a personal best lap time of 1:25.651

Highcroft - "I wish that I could have held on to the lead a little longer and my attempted passes on lfcnicklfc really hurt my qualifying for the feature race, but overall it was a great result for the team."





Feature Race - Highcroft was once again in Lobby B for the feature race, but this time he would be starting fifth. Highcroft was able to jump to third after mistakes by AJzero and KING HILL01 at the end of lap one. On lap two, Highcroft would take his mandatory pit-stop. He was able to squeeze past Crisis Nine after he pitted two laps later. Highcroft had to defend from Crisis Nine for the rest of the race and finished 2nd in the lobby, eighth overall.

Highcroft - "Pit strategy helped me get passed Crisis Nine and I had a great battle with him for the rest of the race. It was interesting to see how the different cars matched up. His light and nimble Lotus would close the gap in the tight sections but once we were on the straight my BMW could easily pull away."




Highcroft - "Overall, the pre-season test went really well. I think the new system is great and I'm looking forward to Season 4."

Yeah was a good race Highcroft I really enjoyed it. That BMW has sooo much power though its scary!

Braselton, GA - High Speed Racing unveiled its new livery at Road Atlanta. Highcroft debut the team's new livery on the #39 BMW M3 E46 during rounds five and six. The #15 Porsche 911 GT3 RS and #83 Honda NSX-R GT are expected to be delivered to the team soon.
