New York, NY - High Speed Racing has confirmed its Season 3 program with support from new sponsor, Corona Extra. They are hoping to follow up on its runner-up finish in the team standings last season (under the Vitaphone Racing name).

HSR will debut its new S3-spec Dodge Viper CC piloted by Highcroft during Round 7 at Road America after running into minor setbacks earlier this season and will hope to finish out the rest of the season.

Elkhart Lake, WI - High Speed Racing concluded its initial shakedown of the new S3-spec Dodge Viper. This marked the first outing for both car and driver since pre-season testing several months ago. The test session went fairly smooth with Highcroft keeping the Viper on track for the most part and ending the session with a time of 2:04.779. The team completed most of its goals during the shakedown such as finding a base tune and getting Highcroft comfortable with the car and with racing in general again. With lap times expected to drop as Highcroft gets reacquainted with Forza 2 after such a long break, High Speed Racing feels confident for a strong finish in its debut round for season 3 at Road America.

#39 Dodge Viper Comp. Coupe in the pits

Elkhart Lake, WI - Round 7 of the British GT Championship was held at Road America. This was the debut race of Season 3 for both team and driver, High Speed Racing and Highcroft. This also marked Highcroft's first online race at this famous American track.

High Speed Racing came to Road America with high expectations but was disappointed early on. HSR realized during qualifying that the Dodge Viper Comp. Coupe just didn't have the top speed to keep with the front runners. Highcroft finished qualifying with a second place start in lobby 3.

At the start of the race, Highcroft managed to hold on to second place and followed polesitter culchi through the first lap. On lap 2, Culchi ran wide at turn and Highcroft was able to take advantage forcing his way past him on the following turn. In the following laps Highcroft was able to pull away to a 7 second lead from then second place Chucky 1982. i redbeard passed Chucky 1982 for second place and began to pressure Highcroft for the lead. Both cars pitted on lap 12, but now the lead was cut to 2.5 seconds. i redbeard kept the pressure up for several laps but Highcroft was eventually able to pull away to a comfortable win in lobby 3, finishing 13th overall.

"Overall, I would say that the weekend was a success. We didn't qualify where we wanted, but after taking the lead (in lobby 3) on lap 2 I was able to take control of the race and bring the car home in 13th. Though I would have liked a better result, it's just great to be back racing in the British GT." said Highcroft
