Being held on a Sunday evening and with the teams commitment already focused in a different area of the Online World for those that can run on a Sunday, the ATP involvement in this series is limited to erm me, and then theres a huge question mark hanging over any involvement due to impending tribute to De La Soul and being the equivalent of British Leyland, rarely works and when it does, it breaks down and goes on strike over pay.

So the target is Round Three at Bathurst, which is the 8th February, the big track in small low powered car combination that i prefer, plus i get to shout 'Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee as i fly down Conrod Straight, i should point out, thats in really fast speed im flying, not due to lag, im actually flying!! Im also going to attempt Silverstone this Sunday, the 11th January, providing the wife isnt attempting to be in Ed Miliband (blimey, now thats a picture i dont need in the head) on Sunday and im a very good boy and eat all my dinner, i may make the Silverstone International opener.

I have done a paint, as you will see, i havent exactly gone to town on it, to be honest, the MR2 in the series shouldnt really be much more than a club racing kind of deal, i did have some inspiration in the design, basically its called a lack of creativity that i need to copy ideas. I decided on the classic Toyota paints used in the IMSA series during the late 80's early 90's, pictured above is a Celica from 1987. Basically i put three squares on the side of the car and trying to pass it as inspiration. I did make a logo, although with the Trick racing gasoline logo, well, its not exactly a rocket science time consuming work of art is it.

I have since done the Rogue Motorsport logo and numberbox, which is a complete **** if your Mr OCD, it may well move before the off, it may well disappear when no one is looking, the Rogue Motorsport doesnt really look good, but there again, the actual Rogue Motorsport logo looks pretty naff from a distance anyway, im still convinced a fat lad sat on the R.

Thankfully the paint suits the driver, as im pretty naff and usually, way in the distance as people look back through their rear view mirror. Currently run about twenty laps, 1:15's almost every lap, you get the feeling theres going to be cones scattered everywhere during the opening laps. I may well attempt a Twitch if i make the opening round as i crank up the View From The Moo cam, the advantage of this, i run cockpit view so you wont need to look at the paint, the bad news being the rest of the field will have disappeared by Lap Three, mind, the GT86's should fly past every so often.

I totally agree with the livery, I mean the car is run privately for club racing, barely have the money to have a professional livery done!
We at Gray Motorsports live by our name, we're pretty neutral in terms of creativity. And we're new on the scene, maybe later on in the season some things will change with the way our car looks. Wink

I looked up rogue Motorsport series. That's where I found the Hot Badger cars. Looking at the pics, he is right about club style cars. So I chose the most interesting one and went to town from their website pics.

I noticed the Hot Badger Racing myself, i really hope theres some good meaning behind the name and not just alcohol related. Even better was the fact that they have www.hotbadger.com domain, i can just imagine the wifes response when i tell her i have been on hotbadger.com today, the porn site that contains absolute no porn (well unless you really like MR2's but i think that would be bouncy time in the padded cell!!)
