How do the teams get picked for the poll?

guess it would be done through Amount of Events Won by that team? or just general High Positions by that team

No it wasn't. I feel the way this came about was kind of not the way to handle things. I think it needs to be the community picking them n not a few high ranking members of the staff. Just my two sense because ya Xpr was left out even know wr were nominated. Top 4 nominations by a few people doesn't class a team of the year vote by the community

Gotta agree Venom. What was it that meant these teams were selected? Results? Contribution to staff? Social media interaction? Must admit to being a touch annoyed Team HARD wasnt on the list when we've single handedly brough at least 8 new drivers to TORA, got the wider motorsport fanbase involved (over 600 Facebook likes, far more than any other TORA team) and havent been performing too shabbily either. Plus I feel Josh deserved a nomination for driver of the year solely for his 14 hour stint at le mans

Personally I don't think we should be singling out one team, As all the teams listed above (Both in the vote itself, And the comments), Have helped make this community what it is, And without all of these teams TORA wouldn't be as good as it is.

I don't see why people are complaining so much about it, like Matt said it's all fun and games.
I agree that more teams/drivers/photos/blogs could have been added, but what's done is done

It's really not meant to be taken with as much seriousness as it has been. I'm sorry to those who feel left out, but you shouldn't.

Still it was barely discussed and want organized very well. I mean tbh these things are a popularity contest. If Tora is going to do these awards I think there should be a points system in some sort with an "x" amount of races included. Keep some kind of stats or something. I'm not complaining just putting in the two cents of how not only myself are looking at this but others as well.

As Deftone said, it's not meant to be anything serious. It sucks you guys feel left out but it's just some fun. Everyone is going to have different views on who should be what and who should be nominated for what, can't please everyone when everyone in a team wants their team to be "team of the year". But you can hardly single out one driver or one team as everyone has had their moments during the year, singling one person/team out over the rest is flawed if everyone takes it so serious as it is just going to p!ss the majority off.

You please everyone by putting every team in the mix and not have a few members vote on it. Let the community decide what team had the best overall season. Every champion to top 5 should be listed in every major championshipshould be included not just the most popular. My point is if it's not serious why do it at all. If your going to do it do it the right way and include every team/driver.

Another point is why we're the few teams/drivers included. Some teams were there half the season, or on a current console. How do they qualify to be the best team. It's based on the whole year right? Not just a few months.

^ Too bad you didn't say that in the nominations thread, as I'd have fully agreed. Put all active teams on the ballot, as that would have been most fair.

For the record, I did not nominate Ax4x. Just saying.

Well I didn't see it until a day before poll was out

The can was opened when a number of teams were left out. I don't see the teams that are included complaining.
