TORA.US Touring Masters General Discussion.

My apologies if I happened to bang into anyone in the races. I did not realize it was all assists off and I had not practiced that way. I usually use ABS and the braking will need to adjusted on my setup. Also my controller sticks sometimes because I always wear out my left thumbnail springs.   I had a great time and the last race was literally a drag race to the finish!! Can anyone send me a replay of race 3? Thanks.

^ Many TORA Series do allow for TCS, and some ABS too, but the slight lack of car control was intentionally put into the build for this (no Aero/Sport Tires), and I didn't want assists to come in and undo the intent.

Reason for the intentional lack of grip is found in the actual races, as slight mistakes are there to be capitalized on, and w/o them there would be much lass back and forth on track.

Enjoyable race from my end. Wish that Volvo turned as well as it got off the line, but still enjoyable. I got into trouble too many times by my own over-ambition and going too hot into a corner.

hes on about me Roscoe cause the Nissan is a 1.5 seconds slower then the Sierra and BMW everywhere else i wont stand a chance in this :/

Come on bro you dominated... Smh road Atlanta Silverstone are both better in the skyline hence why it is the car most signed up in... Better accel, brakes and handling then ours... We have top end... I Understand if you and crash... Err I mean acciro San are scared but Yo change cars after you already ran shows no intestinal fortitude...

ive tested all cars around every track dude the Sierra and BMW are all 1 second quicker then the Nissan around every track :/ lol

also dude we did not Dominate at all me Akihirro and Erebus were all struggling in that Nissan :/

also Roscoe go jump in the R32 around Mugello tell what lap time you can get you will see what i mean

Fastest lap in Qual... And all three race's... One with damage... I'd say you were struggling

In the previous Touring Car Masters the Merc was considered too quick and the stronger runners all decided to veto it to give others a fighting chance, but the one car that virtually no one picked was the nissan R32, its a dog that still thinks its 4wd no matter how you tune it.

I will set my sights on it, see if I can make it behave.

Now........ off to drift in the GRX, hopefully without wilson nicking my rear bumper.....and door mirror........and paint.......

I wasn't complaining, just explaining what I considered my bad driving because I had not properly prepared for it. I enjoy the added challenge of not using ABS. I tend to jam on the brakes so I will be adjusted for it somewhat next week.

anyone care to shoot me a Cosworth tune that could help me shave off some time...running 2:08's and Solar is running 5 seconds faster than me.

and I prefer my tunes to no slide the ass under braking and on corner entry.

well Charger dude to go quick in these cars the backend needs to step out a lil bit try out my Sierra Cosworth tune on my Storefront under the name TCR 204 see if that helps u dude

I'm working on it, unfortunately most the team has gone Xbone and FM5, God only knows why. Must not be all the great there because I see them advertising for FM6 now. LMAO See what $350.00 console gets you with all new games, turning out new versions faster than you can complete the last one. Maybe its time for them to break out their old copies of FM2 and see how to do it right again.

I think the bmw`s will have a hard time on this track.

Next week is better suited to the Bimmers though.
