Touring Masters US General Discussion
Welcome to the inaugural season on Forza 6 of Touring Masters
This series was a success in the waning days of the FM4 era, and with enhanced car and circuit lists, it could be even bigger on FM6.
Feel free to post anything TM-US related.

Could we get a num#laps on this? I want to make sure fuel isn't going to be an issue in car selection this time around.

Check the preseason cup thread. A two round test of everything from performance to economy to time.

Re: Touring Masters US General Discussion
I haven't raced competitively in almost a year, but Bobbo told me this was getting started and I had to have a butchers. I tried a few of the cars last night and found the Mitsu was the fastest for me, but that thing is ugly as sin. I flat out refuse to drive it. That Toyota Trueno pulls at my heartstrings though. It won't have the power to compete on the straights, but oh what a feeling! Too bad you can't paint half the car because of the bodywork. Hopefully, I won't have to deliver any tofu between events.

^ TBH, having raced it, that Trueno is shockingly quick on the straights for what little HP it has to work with. Was being hunted down by a mustang last week, and gave the Ford fits on the straights.
to all tora racers competing in the touring masters
it was brought to my attention yesterday by one of the boss's of the league...someone told him that i was threatening violence....im a non violent person with a passion for racing and i really get into it...i want to appologize to whomever i offended and i will tone the language down...my sincerest appologies....happy racing!

I'm new to TORA and don't quite understand liveries requirements and is anyone testing at the tracks we will be competing on?

This series has "relaxed" livery rules. As long as you have your number and theonlineracingassociation.com on it, and don't have profanity, sex, drugs or tobacco, you will be okay.

Thanks the only part I'm unsure of is the "era appropriate" number or can I just put my number on and call it a day (besides the other decals)?

BWHAHAHAHAHAH. But it was all good. Handled very well. Good communication and we eventually got it all squared up. Amazingly close racing and very much enjoyed it. Got turned around in the first race which put me at the back of the pack for the rest of the night. With the rolling start, short course and VERY closely matched cars making up distance was very difficult. GREAT TIME!!!

Re: Touring Masters US General Discussion
I certainly hope we don't spend two hours each week on this series. That is entirely too long especially with a 9 PM Eastern start time. I also realize Race 1 is usually a little longer than normal.
Re: Touring Masters US General Discussion
This week should go by much quicker as it is a single 45 minute feature rather than triple sprints. And, as you said, the opening round of every series has more delay than usual.
Just hope that we have a marshal in each lobby, as last week we had to scramble to find a host for B Lobby at the last minute.

Re: Touring Masters US General Discussion
The EZT FINA Motorsports Team is currently looking to recruit one more driver for this series, you don't have to be a member of EZT, though some experience in TORA or other organized racing events is desired. Please PM me if you are interested!

Has anyone else had excessive tear wear at Spa? My fronts seem to get shredded quickly, and I think I'm going to be hurting before that pit stop and the end of the race.
