Re: Racing Information
That would be easier for me to get to if it is after GRX. LOL. 3PM ET US - I'm still working then, too. LOL
Then again, that is late for the UK guys, so they have to have series in their availability, as well.
Wonder if a SPLIT series is possible for this... One for TORA and one for TORA.US... Both run at the same time in our prospective areas... 8PM British and the us at 8PM ET or 9PM ET (for west coast). It would help build the .US brand...

Re: Racing Information
^Not a bad idea iceman, there's some series I wish I could run I'm, but they're set for British time convenience. We already run multiple lobbies on some series, why not at different times for US and andbut still for points in the same championship?

Re: Racing Information
Not necessarily SAME POINTS, But a totally different Championship, allowing some to run for ONE. You would have, for example:
Dunlop Euro VAG Trophy
Dunlop NA VAG Trophy
I have run in a few leagues that did that. It helped in TWO areas. Connection on FM4 with drivers in their same general area, as well as time zone (not up til 1 am) and secondly, it built Regional Rivals and champions.
Then, SOME of these series would have a MASSIVE race at the end, for DOUBLE POINTS and combine the leagues on a weekend day start. Then the drivers saw each other for the first time and the top guys from each division went toe to toe. They were fun.

Re: Racing Information
That sounds really fun. So basically running nationals and then having a big international championship at the end of the series.

Re: Racing Information
Yup. I had a scca league like that. Ran two regionals in each series and then a big combined finale. It was quite fun. Had about 10-11 drivers in each region and in some ways, the mid pack guys started getting a lot better as they started driving for podiums, instead of mid pack. Plus there was one division for the "rookies", aka, the slower drivers. Kind of like a spec car, no tuning, to teach them to drive in a crowd first.
Re: Racing Information
If its at 3pm est us then i wont be able to make every race and i want to be able to make every race because this will be my last full time series before project cars comes out.
But even if it is i will still attempt to make all the races

I would love to have that possibility too i could run more leagues if it was set to help the US side as well within EST timezone.

That's be great - About two years ago I tried racing here twice, once in the second spec cup with the VW Golfs and once in a thing with some SEAT Cup cars and I'm fairly certain I was the cause of a fairly large crash with the golfs, so in my second race with the SEAT's I just avoided everyone and came dead last.
So yeah, this might be an idea.

Re: Racing Information
I will put up some stuff in the next few days to Mikey. We might be able to set up something, where we could take the newer, slower guys (me), pair them up with a faster driver (owner), who would help tune and teach us to be faster.
TORA Racing School or something. But, actually set up a beginners league, Solar Flar3 is not allowed to run, and run for a title. The "owner" could be vying for an "owners title" therefore incentivizing them to actually help.

Re: Racing Information

This would be a good idea as it gives the slower guys chance to learn how to be quickerxIcemanx41 wrote:I will put up some stuff in the next few days to Mikey. Re: Racing Information
I was thinking of something like that for this series when I first built the cars... full race upgraded "Pro" cars in A Class, less tunable sport upgrades on the "Am" cars in B Class.
