Guys
Can you give any indication when more information will be made available for the event (car list etc) ?
Please pencil down Team OcR as a definite entry.

Re: **Britcar Event Information**
We will be having a little "debrief" about Le Mans this week, and will look at what we can do to make Britcar run even better. We'll let you know as soon as we've got something to say.
Glad you enjoyed yourself enough to be chasing the next one already though! Personally, I'm more interested in sleep right now!!!!

Re: **Britcar Event Information**
From experience of Sebring and Le Mans, details get going about 6 weeks before the event

That doesn't look like the 911 GT3 RSR which worries me?
What sort of cars run in the Britcar? I assumed incorrectly or correctly it was like the one on Topgear a few seasons back with GT Cars and such likes (some even more extravagant ones like the one Hammond smashed into the side of? )....
Can anyone enlighten me and give me some idea of a type? (not exact specifics cos as someone already pointed out there won't be a list until around 6 weeks before)
Thanks

Re: **Britcar Event Information**
It'll be mostly cars between B and S class, though I think we may include the GT S9 spec cars.

Re: **Britcar Event Information**
Yes it is the cup car!
The GT3 class is the fastest class for this race (in real life). Hammond crashed into a Mosler MT900 GT3. Cup cars are allowed. Mercedes, Audi R8's, BMW Z4's, McLaren's and Viper's should make up the GT3 class. and S or A class cars should make up the second fastest category (Aston Martin Vantage GT4, Corvettes, BMW M3s, etc.). B class should make up for the slowest category (Acura Integras, Mini Coopers, etc.)

Re: **Britcar Event Information**
Expect to see our Britcar use the GT Season 9 car list as the top class and the Clubman class as the lowest. We are planning on putting a GT4 class in the middle somewhere.
Re: **Britcar Event Information**
Count me as "IN" no matter what rules package you decide on... but love the Clubman type cars.
Re: **Britcar Event Information**
I know a chappy who can help you out there ...Although it would be nice for the old GT cars to make a returnRichy59 wrote:We are planning on putting a GT4 class in the middle somewhere.
T10 need to put a Ginetta in this game!

Re: **Britcar Event Information**
sadly I won't be able to race because I have school. I had sooo much fun at le mans, Kinda sucks I won't be able make it. Count me in for Nuerburgring (if its 24hrs) unless it conflicts with my exams.

Re: **Britcar Event Information**
i am gonna have to get the time off work but i am guessing the amd guys will be joining in
for the groups...
you say that the gt series cars will be top.... i see a problem.
unless you drop the aston martin there will be too many groups to be input into the race. This is because of the gt1 spec on it. the gt2/3 cars could stay the same tho!!
but then you got 2 groups to work out the other sets of cars involved.
an idea for the class A/S cars is the TCC cars? they are class A and already have a set up for them and it would be like the production cup.
